B.S.!!!! If the oceans were rising, all islands and not just Tuvalu would be sinking. Tuvalu is sinking because they there have mined beach gravel for construction, which gives the appearance that the ocean is advancing and therefore rising, but it is a lie!!

Mining underwater solids should help reduce the water level by making the basin larger. We should be doing our part by damming the lava in Hawaii and sediments in the Mississippi so it doesn't displace ocean water.

One could also pump ocean water onto the land in cold climates where it would freeze.

Looks like Mars could use more water. We could send some there.

All kinds of possibilities beyond just kowtowing to Kyoto.
