Yup, just call me Freddie. Alright Freddie.
Freddie the Freeloader.
But don't have them change your screen name, because you're going to feel damn good when the day comes that you donate to FR.

Okay, so, instead of just a boring bump, how about a weather report?
It's -1F at my house now, and that's without the wind chill.
I live in Massachusetts.

Just happened to come across this thread...for the purposes of friendly discussion, here goes:
I'm in the Hudson Valley of New York, where it is now 2F at 9:30 pm, with a forecast low of -10F.
Global warming my a$$.
To: GiveEmDubya
Didn't you hear? We sent all our global warming to France.

Anyone else with a weather report, while we wait for the freeloaders to click the donate link?

I gave up my pager and joined the dollar-a-day club. If things get tight, I'll make everyone take shorter showers.

*Sigh*
First quarter FReepathons are a bitch. Worst time of the year for me. Perhaps a trip to the "Coin Star" is in order, here.
To: New Horizon
Perhaps a trip to the "Coin Star"I love the CoinStar machine. But hey, don't break the bank if it's a bad time.
So, how's the weather where you are?

How's Sleepyhollow? Anybody found the bones of Ichabod, yet?
Has Henry Hudson's ghost crew been bowling lately?

A lot of people just donate $5. That's all it would take, if every freeper did the same...

It's about 70 where I am in Seattle, but that is inside a building. BTT.

I posted the following one week ago, and mailed out the money-as promised-the next day.
To: All
Just a little note about me. I am a single mother of two beautiful children. I have been looking for work since October to provide for them. My ex husband was ordered to pay $150.00 a month in child support, and is behind by about 10 months now. I have been living off unemployment for 3 months.
I am not saying this to gain sympathy from anyone. I am saying this because I am dropping $10.00 cash-I can't afford to get a money order-in the mail to Jim Rob tomorrow. If I can find a way to spend this amount to keep FR available, I know many others of you can too. It only takes a few dollars from each of us that enjoy the site to provide the financing JR needs to keep the site up and running.
Think about it: what does FR mean to you? Is it important enough to scrape together a few dollars? It is to me. Thanks Jim Robinson for this terrific forum!! YOU ROCK!!

Monthly donor bump!
Even if you just calculate and donate how much you save per month on a traditional newspaper... which was usually just leftist propaganda anyways type-set with smeary ink ;-)
