Yep. My sr year in HS I was at a friend's bday party where I gave a lot of attention to this one particular girl. Got her phone #, etc, but never got around to calling her (someone else came up, lol - the good old days). Anyway, the girl's father called my friend, asked about me, and then begged him to tell me to call (without her knowledge) her and that basically we'll hang out without him giving us crap (!!!) and etc. Apparently she already had a bf, but he was a HS drop out and kept getting arrested. So, yea, fathers can be pretty reasonable depending on the guy.
