Second Amendment Sisters is a grassroots organization that was born on FreeRepublic. With the blessings of our dear Jim Robinson, five FReeper ladies took off to challenge the "Million" Mom March, also affectionately known in inner circle as the "commie mommies."

Once again the commie mommies plan to invade Washington, DC, on a day that should be set aside to honor the women who gave us life, to call for more infringement on the rights granted to you at birth.

The woman who gave me life was brutally murdered at the age of 27. For that reason, I will not stand aside while one group of women claim that my mother, and thousands like her, have no right to sef defense.

Please join us! Please stand up for your right to self defense. If you are a man, honor your mother, wife and daughters on Mother's Day by defending their freedom! It takes a big man to be a Sister!

Over the next few weeks, rally details will be firmed up and posted at the link above. We are in serious need of donations, as a rally in DC is not cheap. Many FReepers help fund the rally in 2000 and we hope you are as generous this time.

The Republicrats and the Democrans are certain to plan more intrusive gun controls in the next term of Congress. Most Freepers think that because "we have George W. in the Whitehouse and a Republican majority in Congress, we are safe".

Think, again. Bush has said that he would endorse an extention on the Clinton gun-ban, and we need to hold our representatives accountable. Politicians need to be reminded that we elected them.

The anti-freedom bunch will be parading movie stars in front of a clueless public. You can bet lesbian, Rosie O'Donnell, will be with the Commie Mommies, and that they will be well funded.

We need to outnumber the Morris Dees/Clinton/liberal funded MMM to send a message to Congress.

Gun Control means every citizen owning a firearm. A "well regulated militia" is an armed citizenry.

Self-defense is a basic human right.

I'll see y'all in Washington. Look for the South Carolinians.
