[history]
Mexican senators said Monday they would send a delegation to the United States to lobby for migration reforms, in response to U.S. President George W. Bush's proposed temporary worker program.
Mexican President Vicente Fox has welcomed the proposal by Bush to extend temporary legal status to undocumented immigrants in the United States as well as would-be migrants who have jobs waiting for them. Under the proposal, workers would receive three-year work permits.

You heard it here first (well, maybe not FIRST): GWB is a one-termer.
He is now minus one political foot, having blown it off with his amnesty-for-illegals laugher (proposed, no doubt, on the advice of the BRILLIANT Karl Rove).

It's a pretty sorry situation when arguably the most incompetent, corrupt gov't. in this hemisphere has the nerve to send their propaganda ministers into this country to try and dictate immigration to OUR elected officials.....disgusting.

And we all used to b**ch about the Chinese and their influence on the Klintoons...Yeppers, I remember those days. If the "Mexican delegation" were coming on Clinton's watch we wouldn't have to put up with the lock-steppers blindly supporting a pubbie.

Agreed. Edwards, if he's still in it by Super Tuesday, will rally the Southern vote by proclaiming to protect the textile industry, etc. from the "illegals" invasion and an anti-NAFTA slant. He's got Klintoon written all over him.
