An al-Qaida program to develop chemical and biological weapons was in the early "conceptual stages" when it was cut short by the U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan, U.S. and Malaysian security officials told the Associated Press.

The information on the state of Osama bin Laden's weapons plan came from interrogations of terrorist suspects captured in Southeast Asia and from clues gathered in the Afghan battlefield, the authorities said.

Just think, if Gore, Dean, Kerry, Clark or any of the other Dems had been president, we would have waited until AQ fully developed their bio and chem capability and hit us with it, before taking effective action.

Isn't it odd that the liberals tell us we must do something now about "global warming" even though the science isn't definite, it is not a given fact that we are causing it as they would like us to believe, and the assertion that we really could do something to stop it is given as a definite fact, and yet we should not do anything about bad people who are trying desperately to make WMD's to kill Americans and would do so without hestitation once they did get those weapons? These people are going to succeed if we choose to allow them to continue without trying to disrput them.

The liberals are always on the anti-American and anti-civilization side. They want us to live in mud huts (no electricity) and live like the barbarians the terrorists are in their own native communities.
