Former comedian and soon-to-be-launched liberal talk show host Al Franken, author of "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right," reportedly threw a Howard Dean heckler to the ground at a political event in Manchester, N.H., yesterday, breaking the man's eyeglasses in the process.

A witness tells Inside the Beltway that the heckler, a supporter of Lyndon LaRouche, "would neither shut up or leave" the Palace Theater.

So Mr. Franken, who admits in his book that he needs to lose "40 pounds" from his buttocks, morphed into a bouncer and "knocked the guy to the ground, breaking his glasses."

Oh, the tolerant, peace-loving left! And how they love the first amendment!

This is the line that I liked: The reporters weren't amused: "There were a lot of other players in the line and we were all shouting at him, 'Hey, we're here too!' "

PLAYERS? This is how reporters think of themselves? They really do live in a world of their own with inflated opinions of themselves.

Rich trash is by far the worst kind but you can drop the trailer modifier, you can find some fine people living in trailers, just as you can find trash living in mansions. The possession of wealth does not necessarily correlate in any way with morality, intelligence or dignity.

You can say anything you like about whites, just not about any other category. Calling white people trash is politically correct. I, on the other hand, take great pride in describing myself as the epitome of the politically INcorrect.
