"I am saddened that Vietnam has yet again been inserted into the campaign."

Mr. President, I also rise today--and I want to say that I rise reluctantly, but I rise feeling driven by personal reasons of necessity--to express my very deep disappointment over yesterday's turn of events in the Democratic primary in Georgia.

Speaking of dividing, I'm hearing Howard Dean on c-span saying of the election, "This is a fundamental disagreement about the very nature of what it means to be an American."

Got that right.

At least the WSJ listens to Rush and took notes during his broadcast yesterday.

...I suspect the LAT,NYT,CNN,NBC,CBS,ABC,NPR,ETAL had similar notes eaten by their dog.

It Really peeves me when he refers to it as "Nixon's War".

Kennedy and Johnson got us into it.

Unless I am mistaken about the time-frame, when Kerry was in Vietnam, Nixon was not yet in office.

Just goes to show that a liberal will tell lies about absolutely anything and they don't even care if they are believable as long as their 'useful idiots' buy into them.

If Bush's VietNam era military service is to be re-tried in this campaign, then so too must Clinton's rape allegation be re-tried...... After all, that charge is a hell of a lot fresher.....

John Kerry served in Vietnam???? REALLY????? I did not know that, he really should talk about that experience some time.

OH - and all this hubub about Kerry being a hero because he served in Vietnam.

AH - What about the HERO George H.W. Bush that draft-dodger Clinton beat in 1992?

What about the HERO Bob DOLE that draft-dodger Clinton beat in 1996?

George W. Bush served in the National Guard and received an HONORABLE DISCHARGE.

Guess we only honor vets that are DEMOCRATs....
