[history]
Assemblywoman Sally Lieber, D-San Jose, on Thursday introduced a resolution urging Congress and the president to adopt a federal bill that would allow U.S. citizens and permanent residents to sponsor their same-sex partners for immigration.
The Permanent Partners Immigration Act (PPIA), making its way through Congress, seeks to add the phrase ``or permanent partner'' to sections of immigration law that provide immigration rights to legally married couples.

What about committed and loving friendships? What? You must have sex with the person to qualify?

Thanks for your posts. Me thinks that this internal corruption of NORMAL values is just as dangerous as terrorism. Let's call one internal & the other external terorism. Both should be combated with physical force. Then we see this president wanting more money set aside for the Natonal Endowments for the Arts. How long can this nation survive without leaders involving themselves into protecting the traditional values that made this nation the greatest ever?

Permanent Partners Immigration Act (PPIA) How many more people will enter into temporary partnerships for immigration purposes when you won't even have to be married to the immigrant?
We have enough moral decay without importing more.
