Roxane G. Gilmore, first lady of Virginia from 1998 to 2002, is a classics professor fascinated by, among other things, the epic poetry of Homer. She is also a major player in the Jamestown quadricentennial in 2007. But Gilmore is looking to do other things - such as politics.

If it came down to a primary battle between Gilmore and Gentleman Jawn "RINO-extraordinaire" Wahnah, I'd certainly prefer Gilmore, but he's got some RINO traits to overcome as well. If he's up to it, I'd prefer Cantor make the step up from House to Senate.
In any event, George Allen's got my support fer the other Senate seat as long as he keeps my faith!!

Schapiro's an unapologetic DemonRAT buttboy who's totally incapable of writing an unbiased column...MUD
A bit timid in his conservatism, imho, but a decent man with acceptably conservative instincts. I've met him a coupla times at various GOP events and he comes off as far more conservative than his policy actions would lead you to believe. Then again, he may have simply been appealing to my RadicalRightWing proclivities...LOL!!

Nope. He should have challenged Big Jawn in '02. By '08, Cantor, Forbes, and Goodlatte will be jockeying for the seat assuming (hopefully) Big Jawn has retired.
That ol' buzzard ain't gonna leave without a push...I fear he's got StromThurmond-itis!! The GOP's gotta work long and hard to make it known that his RINOism ain't appreciated and that he will be defeated in the primary before the '08 election!! Even then, the ba$+ard's so spiteful that I can see where he would run as an independent just to get Ol' Horseface into his ol' Senate seat!!

I was speaking of the Warner seat as far as the Senate is concerned, my money's on the other Warner going for that one. George is safe from an inner party challenge for his, IMHO, barring any support for Illegals Amnesty.
As for RINO tendencies, George voted for the $400 bil (now $540 bil) Socialized Pill Bill, I'm going to keep a close eye on him, especially with Amnesty for Illegals, Artists' Welfare, and other BS proposals coming from the White House.
Cantor has already proven he is nothing but a Yes Man rubber stamp RINO, I wish someone would challenge him.
Jerry Kilgore has yet to take a stand on the tax hike, Im assuming hes waiting to see who wins.
We already know where Jim Gilmore stands on tax increases. He stood tall facing the same collection of dirtball RepublicRATs that are trying to shove one down our throats now.
For that he gets my respect and support, for the Senate, House, or up against Kilgore for another term in the Governor's Mansion.
Cantor, again I dont know why everyone hasnt seen through that fraud yet, he talks the talk, but when it comes to votes, hes a Big Government Boy, takes his orders direct from Party Central, not the constituents he allegedly represents.
