We used to watch MTV but the programing became so raunchy it was embarrasing to watch.

The M in MTV no longer stands for music.

Outlet will likely become a part of MTV's the Suite lineup (consisting of MTV, VH1 and Nickelodeon). Why don't they just merge it with Nickelodeon?

Yet another reason I'm happy we don't get cable.
Why pay to have poison pumped into your living room?

The time has come to DEMAND a la carte cable programming. I don't want to pay for this crap - "packaged" or not.

I can't understand all of the programming geared around the homosexual lifestyle. It is as if they are trying to sell this lifestyle to the rest of us. It is a lifestyle constantly pushed on all channels (except espn) today. It is in movies, on sitcoms, special stand up presentations, etc. It is all over the place.
Yet, the homosexual population is some extremely low number (2% guess, not accurate). It is clear that they want that number to grow!

Outlet will likely become a part of MTV's the Suite lineup (consisting of MTV, VH1 and Nickelodeon). So if parents want to get nickelodeon for their children they'll have to buy it as part of a package containing a fairy porno channel?
To: Dan12180
This channel will not last very long. Two or three years at best. Financially it just won't work.

MTV Networks, buoyed by positive talks with top cable operators, has begun stepping up the planning for Outlet, a 24-hour network aimed at gays and lesbians.Outlet? Interesting choice of names for a group of people that can't tell an outlet from an input.
To: Dan12180
Like regular MTV was not enough for pushing the gay agenda?

Outlet will likely become a part of MTV's the Suite lineup (consisting of MTV, VH1 and Nickelodeon). Bundling a queer station with a kid's station?
Nothing wrong with that...Nope. Not a thing.

a 24-hour network aimed at gays and lesbians. But we outlaw cigarette advertising on television.

You do realize that the basic cable option package includes MTV rather you want it or not. How do you think MTV gets paid.
Wouldn't it be nice if you could opt out of MTV in cable subscriptions. Bet MTV would disappear real quick.

I thought we already had VH1.

Homosexuals don't reproduce, they recruit. And what better way to recruit (your children) than to have a 24 hour a day audience on 3 or 4 networks targetted to youth where nothing negative related to the homosexual lifestyle is ever presented -- No AIDS, no STD's, no psychological issues, no public health issues ... just 24 hours a day of fathion conthious flowers and pinkness, and celebrations of fruitless sex. And propaganda about the necessity of "hate crime" laws, i.e., thought crime laws.
Fabulous!

a 24-hour network aimed at gays and lesbians. I thought Bravo and Trio already were. Seems to be an awful lot of homosexual content on those channels.
To: Dan12180
It will not succeed, )unless they have programming featuring lipstick lesbians, if you know what I mean), because there's just not enough of them to make this a profitable venture.
