Peggy is worthy of the money she earns as a writer because she is immensely gifted and has a heart of gold. She gets paid because people---not just the Wall Street Journal publishers---buy her work.

However, I agree that we should criticize her call for fear. I don't recall Reagan ever showing fear. And we'd probably think a little less of him if he ever did.

But, seriously, the pundants these days do not have a clue. Not even the fat red headed Irish guy on Meet The Stressed... they are wrong to the core, and they make soo much money. We here at FR know ten times more than all the slobs in the Washington Press Corps combined and we do it for free. That is why Rush, Hannity, and even the DU'mmys come to us to figure out what the hell is going on. I'm poor, but right now, I feel pretty rich knowing the course of our leaders.

I disagree about how worth it Peggy is. Sometimes I llike her stuff, but at others it looks like a big e-moting session. When she brings in her own life events, like her NYC parties, or MJ concert with a "friend", or this oh so nice talk with the WH aide, I wonder if she has imaginary friends or can her life really be this dull. I don't re4ally mena dull, what I mean is that she always just seems in the middle of one emotion or another. Obviously, this column displays her at her worst; she is trying to compensate fro offending people with the last column with her half lame brain idea that republicans are such pansies in a verbal fight with democrats because they are philosophers and not politicians. She's a mess. It is silly to even begin to analyze her stuff. She could have written this column in ONE FREAKING PARAGRAPH.

Every good athlete fears losing. That's what motivates them and keeps them sharp. They don't want to be the one who is the goat of the game for some blunder. It makes for winning teams.

Those in the midair Coyote phase who still think churning equals travel, won't be looking down anytime soon, which means Noonan's derision is a given.  Fair enough.  Reading a Peggygram sucked 95% free of treacle is its own reward.  I like her better this way.  Pile on.  We'll make a pundit out of this cheerleader yet.
