Interesting. I've read that geologists can still 'see' the ancient shore line in some areas. (You should always listen to your mother)

I will be highly disappointed if they identify this area in the North Sea as "Atlantis". Atlantis has got to be tropical because I have so many images of blonde-haired, doey brown-eyed, copper-toned beach babes frolicking around in the gentle aqua blue waters of the tropics just waiting for my ship to run aground... sigh...

I've got several pictures of the area, I'll try to find one that captures that ridge line and post it...I'll be back there this summer and make a point of getting a good shot and also some of the local terrain...
