"They want to know what (Michael Hargon) said and how he acted," Smith said.

Good point don't you think?

Blood drops and bullet holes in the Hargons' home may indicate foul play, Turvey said.

Oh really?

Thanks for the post and the ping, WKB.

On FNC this morning, one of Rebecca's relatives (her mother?) said she usually talked to the her at 9 o'clock every Sat. morning. Rebecca was not heard from last Sat., so the relative tried to reach her at 10, and wasn't successful. Also, Rebecca usually talked to her sister on Sat. morning, and the sister couldn't reach her, either.

Nothing was missing — including the Hargons' vehicles, money, guns and jewelry — from the rural, one-story home.

From here: Clues Sought in Family's Disappearance

But there was no sign of robbery or forced entry. Rebecca Hargon's wedding and engagement rings were left behind. Dirty dishes were left in the sink. The family's three vehicles have been accounted for.

Why would she leave her wedding and engagement rings behind?

I can almost gaurantee it will be someone who was released from prison recently.

Anybody know if the loot from "Haywoods" robbery was recovered?

"A close family friend who works for the family has told relatives he ate breakfast with Michael Hargon early Saturday morning. Michael Hargon handles financial matters for the man, who lives on property willed to Michael Hargon by his late uncle."

Ah, so the recently inherited property was the last place Michael Hargon was seen alive. I recall you posting something yesterday about this uncle having excluded his own son from his will, and that this was being looked at as a possible motive. Any further word on that? Or any info on this "close family friend" who works and lives on the property?
