The Weekly Standard printed exerts from a leaked internal memo for the purposes of purveying propaganda discounted by the Defense Department.
Secondly, several sources for Weekly Standard and Bill Kristol pieces on Fox News were supplied from Ahmed Chalabi who is now boasting abroad of his ability to get the United States to topple Saddam's regime by supplying dubious information. Either Kristol and the editors of the Weekly Standard were duped by this charlatan or they were willingly duped, which would make them traitors to their own country.
