These two need to grow a pair and appear pissed off!!! Ain't many mommas naming their babies "Orrin" in Texas.

WOW! What a RAPID RESPONSE! Why it only took Santorum 2 months after Orrin Hatch took down his pants for Pat Leahy to finally speak out about this. Santorum isn't on that committee. I think he's responding because of the lack of leadership by Hatch. Also a Republican staffer was recently fired while Republicans have stopped pressing the DemocRATS about the contents of those memos.

She said "grow a pair", not "decide to sell your party out to Marxists, the Chinese, the French, abortion doctors, trial lawyers, and race baiting demogogues". You left out "and appear p!ssed off" from your reply my friend, thus, you have altered the impact intended from the post.
Take another "swig", relax, and achieve a state of giving it some thought.
Trust me, it's doable. ; )

LOL. I'm sure Senator Frist and Hatch are really nice guys, but every time I see Hatch on TV talking nice about the Dims, I just want to smack him!

Human beings are not calculating machines. They are subject to human frailties. One of those is irrationality in the face of disgust. It is irrational for Republicans to sit out the election, letting Democrats win more seats. Doesn't matter if it's irrational. There is some level of disgust at which everyone will do this. Many people are not that disgusted yet; some never will be. But the more disgusting it gets, the more people will fall off the Republican train. When Karl Rove says, "They have nowhere else to go," he's forgetting that they don't have to go anywhere. They can just stay home. The arrogance of these Washington Republicans astounds me. They don't seem to have a clue how many natives are getting restless. Hatch has always been a spineless weasel. If it were just him, I wouldn't care. I expect him to be worthless. But if "our leadership has decided to try to get this initial investigation out of the way and that air cleared first, and then we'll assess options afterwards" means what I think it means, and what it does mean if Hatch has anything to say about it, I could get pretty disgusted. |

Santorum, chairman of the Republican Conference, is the only GOP leader so far to publicly take a stand in favor of the Sergeant-at-Arms investigating the actual content of the Democratic Judiciary Committee memos. Sen. John Cornyn (R.-Tex.), a freshman member of that committee, has also suggested this be done. The Republicans need to field more players like Santorum who want to advance the ball and put points on the board.
To: RightWingMama
Santorum needs to be Majority Leader. Frist is not strong enough. I believe Miranda will be on with Cal Thomas tonight on Fox news channel.
These memos need to be investigated AND made public(IF the liberal media will print them.)
To: RightWingMama
But, it would be nice if while we have the majority, we acted like we were in control. Acting is a trait of liberals.
We ARE in control and things are looking up!
It's tough to see for the "time challenged" however, as time goes on, shucks we all are more prosperous, the war on terrorism is maintained abroad, and whether one wants to see the light of it or not, the rampant judicial activism is being stifled.

LOL!
As a precaution, I suggest we all *whisper* our comments, so as not to frighten away the herd. Look! There's Orrin turning his head slowly in our direction. Do you think he senses danger? No, evidently he's just looking around for Kennedy's habitat. That seems to be his natural grazing area.

Majority Leader Bill Frist (R.-Tenn.) and Senate Judiciary Chairman Orrin Hatch (R.-Utah) appear content to let Senate Sergeant-at-Arms William Pickle investigate only how the memos came into the hands of Republican staffers--a probe that was inspired by the Democrats, serves the interests of the Democrats, and turns attention away from the far more serious question of whether the Democrats did anything improper in their efforts to thwart conservative nominees. A good lesson on how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I really had high hopes for Frist but man, how he has let me down.
WIMPS!

We have the same thing at work....and as g'vmt employees we are warned not to post any information that we don't want others to see that can be accessed through MY NETWORK....
Exactly....the point is that these were networked GOVERNMENT
computers, not DNC property. If any laws have been broken here,
it is by the rats for doing party business on tax payer funded computers
(not to mention the flagrant collusion outlined by the memos themselves.)

Manuel Miranda, former legal counsel to Frist...On Friday, Rush mentioned that this dood is still communicating through some website - yet I couldn't find anything on Rush's website to confirm the whereabouts. Manuel ain't done fighting! I could become a big fan of his!
