[history]
John F. Kerry, wrangling with rival John Edwards over jobs and trade in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, arrived in this city with 26 percent unemployment yesterday and scored some political points off the Bush administration -- though not quite in slam-dunk fashion.

Just wait, next week the reporters will be writing Kerry's sound bites and suggesting strategy.

What city were they in that had 26% unemployment? I must have missed that, was it Paris or Hamburg?

Looks like the dateline is Dayton, Ohio.

Edwards tweaked Kerry at a candidates' debate in Milwaukee Sunday night, saying of Kerry's response to one point,
"Where have you gone Joe DiMaggio?
Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you.
wooo wooo wooo.
What's that you say Mrs. Robinson?
Joltin Joe has left and gone away
Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey."

I think I'm getting too sensitive and paranoid about press bias.
EXAMPLE: I find myself becoming annoyed that Kerry is always referred to as John F. Kerry, even when other candidates are first name-last name. In my paranoia, I assume that this is done to subliminally implant the John F. in the readers' minds.
I wouldn't mind if it was John "EFFING" Kerry, which would be more appropropiate.
Oh well, I guess I need to invest in an aluminum foil cap....

Of course Kerry and the rest of those fools in the Donkey Party have a great plan for increasing employment. Yeah sure. I've talked to my Dem coworkers who complain about the "lack" of jobs and asked them how exactly the Dems would do better than Bush at creating them. They have no clue. Or they think that job creation is something government does, and naturally the Dems know how to do it better than Republicans. The fact is that most Americans are economic illiterates have no idea about how the market works and how jobs are created.
