Good - I still cannot think about the horror that family suffered through... especially the little boy - without incredible sadness...
It's true, he did earn everything he's gotten. He's had more time to live than any of those he killed. James Patrick should have been out playing with his dog and catching grasshoppers over the summer. Michael and Rebecca weren't allowed to see him off on his first day of school and learning to spell his name. It's such a sad, sad waste.
Why are they still talking about other suspects? There are no other suspects. ELH admitted to the crime to several people and took LE to the graves - that's it, period. What, it's the same gang that OJ's looking for?
You can bet DeGruy handed the judge the appeal the moment the death sentence was read. Sadly, the family won't be able to grieve in peace for many, many more years.
Thanks for the report. MS's death row is at Parchman isn't it?
I agree. I can't believe that that was even part of the argument. Like I said, twisted.
As it should be.
I think there is a decent video report

Thanks for the thread. I've been coming here for the last week to get updates on the trial.
It's great that this jury came to all the right decisions. It's hard to see how it could have been any other way, but these days you just never know.
I feel he is responsible for the early death of Diana Hargon, also. She was fighting cancer, for sure, but if not for all the stress and heartbreak she may have won that battle, or at least for a good long while. I hope her daughter is strong enough to bear the burden of all the tragedies in this family. Just really heartbreaking. She has already suffered more tragedy at the age of 25 than most people do in a lifetime.
Thanks, WKB for all your work on these threads and keeping us up to date. If I might say, we've made some friends here and I thank you for that, too, friend. Of course we'll still visit around FR, lol. Y'all take care and have a very Merry Christmas!!!
Brrrr, and stay warm on this chilly morning.
"Of course we'll still visit around FR,"
Thanks and don't let this be Bye Bye "Birdie". :>)
