US Aid to provide $700m aid for Pakistan’s rural areas

ISLAMABAD: US Aid would provide Pakistan with aid worth 700 million dollars for district government system, good governance and for development projects in backward and rural areas. This was revealed by US Aid representative in Pakistan Adil Mansoor while talking to Online.

He said US aid would provide assistance for consolidating the local government system, which is aimed at raising the status of the common man and providing justice.

He said people of Balochistan, Sindh, NWFP, and Southern Punjab are deprived of basic necessities of life and US Aid would be launching projects for the provision of education and health facilities in these areas.
