I merely said ‘thank you’ and headed toward one of the two Republican voting booths. “No, no,” said the third person, a woman. “Go to one of those booths.” She was pointing at one of the five Democrat booths. I understand different ballots, but different booths at a polling place based on party? My husband and I voted up here on the Central Coast, and you just go to whichever booth is available. I've never heard of this before.

... but different booths at a polling place based on party? The GOP booths in my district have snack trays, free coffee and soft drinks, good lighting. The DEM booths are located in the back, near the commode. It really helps the GOP turnout!

I understand different ballots, but different booths at a polling place based on party? My husband and I voted up here on the Central Coast, and you just go to whichever booth is available. I've never heard of this before. It is also the same in Ohio...I took an issues-only ballot and went to a issues-only booth. I really hated it!

Well, I am better than Maxy I guess. Now I'm real confused about the photo and following posts. I can be confused because I'm still emotional. I saw "Passion" this afternoon.
