I quit reading during the first sentence, where it stated "the president announced that my gay family should be banned by the U.S. Constitution". What a load of crap. They'll be living together the same way they have been.

You're exactly right. That's where I stopped reading. What an alarmist.

Exactly. These liberals are hillarious. For decades they've attacked and minimized the role of the "family"...and now because they can't get married, the family becomes an issue for them.

They'll be living together the same way they have been. I made it to the second sentence---something about wearing wool berets and sipping red wine.

Exactly.
What is more shocking than a lifestyle where they consider denying a child his father as "loving" parenthood ... is the way they twist truth into a pretzel.
She wants to live a certain way *and* she wants to get the tax benefits for it, *and* she wants others to shut up and not mind it. Freedom for her and duct tape on the mouth for the rest. And she is bent out of shape like something is being taken away from her when all most of us want is to keep some semblance of the marriage status quo.

"I quit reading during the first sentence, where it stated "the president announced that my gay family should be banned by the U.S. Constitution". What a load of crap. Of course, the more grievous logical flaw in her argument is blaming President Bush, who manages national issues, for a problem with her own state, as New York currently bans gay marriage.
...but that won't stop many Leftists from taking a cheap shot at Bush.
It's a pretty worn out tactic of the Left: whatever issue they are looking at today, their opponent isn't managing it correctly or is on the wrong side.
So pick a news topic and some Leftist somewhere is blaming Bush for it.
Over and over and over again...
