Responding to growing concern over the use of performance-enhancing drugs by high school athletes, lawmakers are considering an explicit ban on the drugs, mandatory drug testing and certification of youth coaches.
"Let's end our collective denial," state Sen. Jackie Speier, D-Hillsborough, said Thursday. "Teens are 'juicing' just like many sports figures they so want to emulate, and coaches, parents, lawmakers and students need to wake up and start paying attention."

Which it is as it should be. Of course, that option is no longer available. Consider, also, that in Arnold's day, steroid use was downright medicinal (short cycle, in the weeks preceding a contest, mostly to hold muscle while cutting up) compared to the boatloads of chemicals that today's championship bodybuilders use. There's a reason why bodybuilders with single digit bodyfat percentages still have protruding stomaches. Something you would never see in Arnold's day.

You can tell when Growth got popular because all of the pros started looking like they were having babies.
