And, in the same Newsweek poll, 65% of Americans believe that the Clinton administration didn't do enough to combat terrorism..

Yes, but look at the Newsweak headline... They wouldn't recognize the real headline -- the real truth -- if it bit 'em.

Exactly.
Clarke is a blip on the radar who is now in the process of being exposed for the liar he really is, and this new tactic of attacking Bush's strength is only going to backfire on the Dems.

What they are doing is making the war on terrorism and national security the central issues in this election...which will always benefit Bush more than Kerry.
