America's losers hate America's winners. The fact that Duke is far superior academically to virtually every other school with a major sports program probably accounts for some of the resentment, too. Too bad, but that's the way it is.

The fact that Duke is far superior academically to virtually every other school with a major sports program UCLA, Michigan. Georgia Tech. Illinois. There are a few top tier schools in Division 1A.
Duke is a fine school, but not "far superior".
