Unbelievable. This guy is actually teaching history at UCLA. He does not think Iraq is better without Hussein in power.

The media is just a puppet feeding us what to believe about the good things happening with schools, power, water, etc. The professor just has feelings.

"It's not a matter of what I know or do not know."
He is not buying the polls that only 19% of Iraqis think things are worse. Prager pointed out that probably those are largely made up of Hussein supporters who benefited during his reign of terror.

This guy sounds like Baghdad Bob ---- and his is teaching history at UCLA. He admits that he doesn't have another source of info ---- it is just his view.

He has no empirical data --- he admits it is hunches and experience.
It was a fairly short interview and ended because I don't think Dennis could take it any more.

Ouch.
When an interview of a Lib is shortened because the interviewee is in danger of being slapped about like a sock puppet on a string, there's something seriously wrong with the interviewee.

It is a shame that you didn't actually listen. You would have been spared the embarrassment of such a foolish mischaracterization of what happened. Dennis was not bitch slapped. The prof was a fool who was denying reality, and they agreed the conversation was pointless to continue. But thanks for bumping the thread, even if it was foolish.

NO, you misread what I said.
Dennis was the INTERVIEWER, correct?
The lib prof was the INTERVIEWEE.
Embarrassment?
No.
I have nothing to be embarrassed about.
Reread what is said.

April Fools. Sorry. Seriously, I wish you had a chance to listen. The guy was in incredible denial. Everything is our propaganda our press creating a rosy picture. As if the press is supporting Bush. He thinks the people were better off before. It was remarkable.

"April Fools."
GAAAH! You got me!
*groans*
I cannot even fathom the thinking, or lack of it, that occurs inside that prof's head to come to that conclusion.
But, all I have to do to confirm such occurs and occurs often is tune in to NPR around here, 90.3FM or so, and listen to the spaced-out-foaming-mouth-ranting-insane-barkingmoonbats rave for hours on end.
That is, when they can do so and "All the music you don't want to hear!" isn't being played.

The good news is that this stuff is finally being exposed at our universities. I don't know if you followed what is going on at UCLA. Racist MECHA gets all kinds of funding from the University as well as a deluxe office. The Young Republican club gets nothing. Al Rantel got the story on the air and the listeners raised 30K for them. MECHA went ballistic over that. Tomorrow night at UCLA, Rantel will be hosting a college Republican event. It should be interesting. I would not be surprised if MECHA and others try to cause trouble and shut them down.

Had heard something about that, but nothing that was specific.
MEChA has an office there?
Interesting.
Doesn't that violate law, and if so how can it be used?
I'm sure MEChA wil do something.
I expect someone to be assaulted in all probability, as is the Liberal way, and the criminals to play victimhood.
Some advice to pass out to the Young Republicans there, travel in groups and don't let your friends out of sight and protection of the group.
(Safety in numbers)
Hopefully someone that will be there will see this.
The local college here rants about how unfair Republicans are, and yet won't give equal airing to opposing views while at the same time claiming to be balanced and fair.
Thankfully, they get very little newspaper time.
