They seem to have found a bomb with 10k of dynamite in a bag under the tracks where the AVE (high speed Madrid-Sevilla train) runs through Toledo. An employee noticed it.

They're inspecting all of the track now. This is from preliminary reports, so all the details may not be available yet.

Sound's like an attempt to gently convince the government to release the peaceful Morrocans, Syrians, Jordanians and other Muslims wrongfully accused of comitting crimes against humanity. (Every good Muslim knows that non-muslims are not human)

MADRID, Spain - Police found a bomb Friday on a high-speed rail line between Madrid and Seville, Interior Minister Angel Acebes said.

Bomb-disposal experts alerted by a railway employee found 22-24 pounds of dynamite under the rail line about 40 miles south of Madrid on the rail line running to Seville, Acebes said.

The explosives were connected to a detonator with a 430-foot cable, the minister told a news conference.

He said it was not immediately known who placed the bomb.

Well, this time we can honestly say the Spanish people got what they asked for.

As H.L. Mencken said (in the Jazz Webster):

Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want and deserve to get it good and hard.

I'm shocked, shocked, that Spanish trains are targets so soon after they rolled over.

From MSNBC's report - "On Thursday, police in northern Spain on Thursday defused three letter bombs addressed to journalists in Madrid.".

Update:

Explosive device found on Spanish rail track

MADRID, April 2 (Reuters) - A bomb was found on a high-speed train track near the Spanish city of Toledo on Friday just weeks after 191 people were killed in suspected al Qaeda bombings of four packed Madrid commuter trains.

Interior Minister Angel Acebes said the bomb, believed to contain between 10 and 12 kgs (22 and 26 lbs) of explosives, was found in a bag under the rails.

The explosives were connected by a cable to a detonator, he told a news conference.

A railway employee spotted the bag and alerted authorities who sent explosives experts to the scene.

Services on the prestigious AVE train service linking Madrid and the southern city of Seville were halted while all the track was checked, Acebes said.

He gave no information about who may be responsible for planting the explosives.

The incident disrupted travel as millions of Spaniards prepared to leave cities for the Easter week holidays. Seville draws huge crowds for its Easter processions.

The bomb was found as tensions in Spain were still running high after the bombings of four Madrid trains last month. Two of the trains exploded at or near Madrid's Atocha station, which is also the terminus for AVE services to Seville.

The bomb was found as members of parliament elected in Spain's March 14 election took their seats in Madrid. The Socialists ousted the ruling Popular Party in an election upset three days after the March 11 bombings.

But but but, Spain surrended to al-Qaeda?

Why is al-Qaeda being so mean????

Spain will learn to regret surrendering to the terrorists. Terrorists lie.

The Spanish chose appeasement. We can't afford to choose it.

The average person understands the message that terrorism cannot be appeased. But the liberals STILL don't get it.

Fox News talking about this right now.

This bomb found near the town of Toledo. Where suspects have been arrested in the Madrid bombing case.

Train travel paralyzed.

Isn't that a shame.
