For my own use, since I post so many articles.
That's no fair. I want to use it, too.
LOL! Well, I reckon I'll share it wiith you, but ONLY you.
It's a deal!
OK :) Thus far we own this page: 501 on.
The others had better watch out, we're on a roll...lol.
I wasn't aware that the Canada Free Press had been added to the "excerpt only" list. When did this happen....AND....can we (please) FINALLY get another (updated, FULL) posting of all the current "excerpt only" publications. I/others cannot keep up with the ones being added on what seems to be a daily basis. :-)
I had tried to post this article....
"Adscam -- It's Much Worse Than Watergate"
http://www.canadafreepress.com/2005/weinreb060705.htm
....but was informed that it was "excerpt only"... :-(

No hotlinking even to articles?
On what theory, they are claiming copyright to the URL itself?
To quote the title from an old 60's movie, "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World"! :-(
Ok, I don't get it. If you're giving the proper acknowledgement to the site and publisher, etc, what have they to loose from people reading their articles on FR? You'd think if nothing else it would be free advertisement that might bring more people to their websites to read other articles.
I guess I'm very late getting into this discussion, and I "know" I'm not a good spokesmen. But even dummies have feelings.
Damn. I didn't even know this list existed. I better check it before I post from now on.
Jim, would it be possible to put a link to this list in a prominent place, like at the top of the "Posting new thread" screen? And preferably a straightforward up-to-date list, rather than a long thread with new additions to the list buried in it. As far as I can tell, there's no way to find this list, unless you remember part of the the thread title (and for all I know, this isn't the most recent official thread on the topic), or by e-mailing Admin Moderator.
I added it to my IE Favorites and open a second window for it when I need it. I gather the list at the beginning is updated.
The link to this article is at the top of Admin Moderator's profile page. That's how I find it when I need to.
Ah! Thanks for letting me in on the secret. But it would sure be a good idea to make the list not-so-secret.
I agree.
I gave the suggestion to the cool mod that it would be good to have it somewhere we could remember where to find it... that's where I suggested. I'm sure there are better ideas, but that one didn't require a forum software change.
It didn't seem to be very hard to add "Loose lips sink ships" to the posting screens after 9/11, so I doubt it would be hard to add a link labelled "Restricted sources list" under the "Source" box on the article posting page. The trouble is that newer posters have no idea such a list exists, much less where to find it. And even us oldies have a heck of a time finding it.
Dang, it looks like we have to share.
