With subscriptions plummeting, you think some of these would be happy they were even being noticed.
Oh well.
Acknowledged, will comply.

Note to self; don't renew PC Magazine when it's expired; plenty of others to subscribe to that will allow posts to FR.

I think this is where Fair Use just has to come in. They can't dictate to us, not to use an excerpt or discuss their articles.

Looks to me like the latest anti-conservative attack strategy of the liberals. they hate Rush, Savage and the others on the radio, they hate Fox on TV and they hate us on the web. Well, their loss. Any site that requires registration to read the full article, I don't bother with.

This is a list of people who are ashamed of what they publish. The idea that what they write and publish can be archived, is absolutely abhorrent to them.
They count upon the short attention span of most Americans and hope that nobody will do a factual check at a later date.
We may not post the full text from these sources on Free Republic, but what you do with your own computer is a different matter.
Like a Vampire, they are terrified of being exposed to the light.

Well, I suppose if these sites don't want the traffic (and thus the ad revenue) we generate, then screw 'em. I'll just add them to my ignore list. No sweat off my b.. err back...

Obviously, these sites know of the growing number of members FR has. FR is becoming one of the biggest political forums on the Internet, and these sites want to get some of FR's hits. Through all the years FR has been in circulation with the exception of LA and WP, they haven't complained. However, the number of sites wanting to get direct hits from freepers is growing.

This is getting more and more complicated. Are we who have resorted to simply excerpting supposed to check in with this list every time before we put something up? This is all part of why I don't bother posting full articles any more. I don't want to step on someone's proverbial toes.
They're jerks, one and all!
So much for critiquing an article too. The author can say anything they want with no rebuttal whatsoever if you can't even use a statistic, "fact" or statement they've said in an article! Replying to it would require that you put the information up and then the belly aching would commence.
A very sly, effective way of silencing your critics is how I see it.
