Only the truly blissfully ignorant can see an employment report declaring a gain of 300,000 jobs in a month and ignore it. Ironic, considering the liberals "claim" to be so concerned about the "millions and millions" of lost jobs by President Bush.

...but Kerry knows the sad, sad truth. It doesn't have to be true -- you just have to say it enough, and people will believe it:
* "Iraq is a quagmire, a disaster";
* "The economy is in the tank, the decline started with Bush, and hasn't gotten any better";
* "Everybody is out of work, and it's not getting any better."
* "George W. Bush is dumb"
* "The democrats care about the common person, Republicans take care of the young rich white male."
* "Republicans don't care about the environment"
* "Bush didn't get international support. He acted 'unilaterally'."

Of course, it goes both ways, but Kerry has just been making me sick with it -- he can't say a single word of truth. It must be pretty hard when you have to lie about everything to try to give people a reason to vote for you.

P.S. It's pretty dang arrogant for Kerry and all the arm-chair generals (ret.) to think that they could have successfully carried out an invasion and an occupation of over 1 year, with fewer than 1000 casualties (and 100+ of those from non-combat accidents). (Bush let the military run the war, instead of micro-managing like LBJ did with Vietnam. He just said, "No, 1XX,000 troops plus rockets, missiles, artillery, armor, and air support are overwhelming force. We'll attack sooner rather than later, keep the cost down, and not invest too much of our military (3XX,000 troops) in one theater. Like it or not, Bush and Rumsfeld were right.) (...not to mention all the damage Kerry is doing to the pre-infant Iraqi government by encouraging and inspiring their (and our) enemies.)

The Point:

Keep saying it, and it will "become true". The masses, after all, are asses. (spoon-fed "Good Morning America", "The View", 30-second evening news blurbs, and 5th grade newspapers and magazines.)
