The gorilla off Mickelson's back, a Bernhard Langer win forcing him perhaps to play as captain of the Ryder Cup team or perhaps a Tiger record tying charge?

Who will it be today??

Is this the day that Lefty rises from the dead and wins a major? I have a feeling it is. ......although watch Els as well.

perhaps a Tiger record tying charge?

Tiger's going to have to shoot a 63 just to have a chance. .....and the way he's swinging, it ain't gonna happen. The guy needs to ease up on the weightlifting (or whatever he's doing to get that bulky).

2:30 Eastern start I think to make sure that the leaders tee off on air.

Tiger may be on the back 9 by then..

I think they moved it up to 1:30 because there's weather on its way.

They said yesterday that their coverage will start at 1:30 ET. because they moved up the tee times due to possile threating weather.

Pulling for Mickelson to hang on today.
I like the Love III / Couples pairing though. One of them could go low.

Yowza. Easy Freddy and Ernie in the same group..

Lucklily the 'Human Rain Delay' Bernhard Langer will be playing in front of them disturbing the scoring rythm for the back end of the field.

If Lefty can keep his head on straight, it is his to lose. He has the game for Augusta (as does Big Easy) but patience and thinking is the key. Lefty has occasional brain farts.

The back 9 will be the whole story again this year. If Lefty can get through Amen Corner even par,the Master's should be his. He should be able to score 2 under from there. I would guess that -8 will win and it may be -6. The weather forecast calls for winds picking up later in the day and that will make life miserable for everyone.

As of noon (EST), there is no one on the course shooting under par, Sluman is +6 through 9 holes and there are a lot of 2 and 3 over scores on the board. I would say they have Augusta right where they want it. Hard and fast! Tiger tees it up at 12:10 PM. He needs 64 or better and I don't believe the golf course will give that score up today.

Should be a great finish. Personally, I hope Lefty pulls it off!

Bernie Langer is going to give the leaders plenty of time to think about shotmaking decisions today!

No excuses for Big Easy or Lefty..

the 'Human Rain Delay' Bernhard Langer

LOL! No kidding.
If you have to play with him you should be able to lift, clean and place as rough will grow around your ball while you're waiting.

It may not matter if the weather continues like it is, not much room when it gets dark at 7:50 ET..

Phil doesn't need any time. When he thinks he gets in trouble.

I don't think Ernie's game is as "sharp" as it has been. But regardless, he has the game to win.

I agree...No excuses. Particularly for Lefty.

Pulling for Mickelson to hang on today.

Me too. Although not a big fan of his prior to this year, I like the way he's handled himself lately -- he's matured significantly. .....No doubt the result of the perspective he's gained from witnessing the near-deaths of his wife and infant son last year. It appears he's taken a step back and now views his profession with a much clearer mind.

Old "Phil the Thrill" may be gone for good -- he's now laying up on par 5's (when he needs to), he's swinging within himself, and he's thinking out there. .....just much better course management in general.
