Time to Go Back on the Offensive -- Immediately!

The Democrat strategy is clear -- keep the focus off Kerry for as long as possible; keep Kerry under the radar and out of the view of voters for as long as possible.  That's what all the Richard Clarke, 9/11 Commission, Condi Rice garbage is all about.  And we have to stop it now.

It doesn't matter how good or bad Americans thought Dr. Rice did; it doesn't matter whether Americans believe or do not believe Clarke; it doesn't matter if people think that the 9/11 Commission is a partisan sham -- all that matters, to the Democrats, is the slight-of-hand.  I.e. all they care about is diverting attention from John Kerry for as long as possible.  His record is so abysmal that they have been forced to adopt a "run out the clock" strategy where they will do everything in their power to keep Kerry out of the news and out of sight (except to join in on the Bush-bashing).  We have to call them out on this.

The solution is to ignore the things that the media has chosen to focus on -- which benefits the Democrats.  Do not respond to the substance of what you see in the media -- don't debate it, don't correct it, don't write letters to the editor, don't call Sean Hannity to whine about it... ignore it.  Instead, focus on John Kerry.  Focus on digging up his record.  Focus on sending our findings to talk radio hosts, writing letters to the editor, writing to the news channels, starting websites, sending out emails to your friends, making ads, etc.  We need to make news instead of reacting to the news that the media would have us react to.

The only way to win is to set the agenda.  The spotlight must be re-focused on Kerry as soon as possible.  We need to stop letting ourselves get distracted. 

So, get digging... let's get back to work on Kerry.

You are correct, as always:) The left will put up diversionary smokescreens from now until the election.
We need to chase Kerry wherever he goes. We need to question whatever he says. We need to ignore the fake missles thrown at Bush.

Well, I've been saying for weeks that the GOP needs to force Kerry to say where he stands on REPARATIONS. If he is for them, then he alienates thousands upon thousands of Independents and Democrats. If he is against them, many black Americans will stay home on election day. A win/win situation for the Prez. A lose/lose situation for Kerry. The only problem is, I don't know how to get this idea to the Bush/Cheney camp. What say ye?
