After reading many of the Gorelick articles and scanning many others, I get the impression that Gorelick has been connected to commissions and investigations as far back as the OKC Murrah Building bombing and TWA 800.

Her name seems to keep popping up and mystery seems to surround why it does.

It would cause one to speculate whether her nomination to the 9-11 Commission was more than just participatory. Was she actually 'placed' there by the Clintons to ensure that the fault-finding was post-January 20,2000, not pre-January 20, 2000 [GWBush's inauguration].

After so many articles, headlines, connections, commissions, investigations, I think Gorelick's appointment to the 9-11 Commission was by intent and she has a defined assignment, which is much more than interviewing for a potential Kerry administration job.

Daschle selected her.

There is NO WAY ON EARTH that she should have been allowed on that committee. She was involved in terrorism/defense issues for 4 years during the Clinton Administration. She was a HUGE player in making terrorism policy. I found a speech where she testified before Congress, lobbying for the Clinton Administrations terrorism policy.

Daschle knew this. He appointed her to make sure the blame was NOT shifted to the Clintons.

You know that’s probably why she’s always wearing that $hit-eating grin.
She’s in it up to her eyeballs so she’s “installed” on the safe side of the bench so she doesn’t have to testify. (for now)
