OMG! I just read this article. How in the world can she be on this commission!! Why aren't the regular media screaming to high heaven about this?
I'm screaming mad I'll tell you!!!!
Yeh, the more details about the characters on the Commission, the more distasteful the whole thing becomes. Not only is Gorelick a player in the events preceding 9-11-01, but Benvenista was Clinton's attorney, Kean has connections with a Saudi (IIRC) co that has funding links to terrorism, and Bob Kerrey was on the Senate Intel Committee during the 1990s.
Yeh, they are real cast of characters--a set of foxes looking into why the henhouse got hit by foreign terrorists.

A middle east man was detained at a NY airport following the FBI BOLO......
He was later released with the story that he had no connection to the bombing but was merely bring electronic devices to his home country.

I live in the "Rust Belt". Allis Chalmers, Briggs & Stratton, American Motors, AOSmith, Allen Bradley & many others... I know many former employees of those companies, many were union "activists", spewing the union line about the "common working guy". Helped run a small manufacturing company & told the guy in charge of hiring to quietly hire away from former union workers, cuz most of the ones we had hired in the past didn't understand that their job had anything to do with getting the job done.
I'm not against unions. I'm against unions that get so powerful they think they can & should run the company that employs their members.
How did we end up discussing this topic in this particular thread? lol

This is not a contradiction of my statement. It is understood that she was placed there by design but was a tremendous screw-up because it allows the spotlight to be placed upon her and the last administration. THAT is NOT what was intended. Even with the RATmedia in full cover-up mode this will kill the RAT strategy. It has already blown the Commission out of the water.

What would the existance of such evidence tell you about our law enforcement profession if they executed Timothy McVeigh without this even being part of discovery?
Federal agencies are comprised of little warlords who enjoy a certain territorial mode of behavior, and they see the horizon as a battle among their own agencies for prescious scraps dolled out by congress. Whatever the needs of the public be damned.

While I think the 9/11 Commission is a bunch of foolish crap, I think we can go overboard with the "connections" people have to this group or that. Almost NO ONE would be free of some remote connection to some group in Washington. Six degrees of separation, and all that.
I don't think Kean or Kerry are deliberately covering up---it's just the nature of what the commission walked into.
Gorelick, on the other hand, is clearly a stooge for the "Keep Clinton Clean" committee.

The old mantra supporting Clinton, "but he's doing a good job" is coming back to haunt me now, even though it didn't sit right with me back when it was one of the "talking points" against taking him down.

McVeigh wasn't speeding. He had failed to display tags on the car he was driving. An ommission I find particularly stooopid on McVeigh's part. As sophisticated and clever as McVeigh was, I find it hard to imagine that he didn't have tags on or in that car to display as he made his exit. I think someone removed them so he would be caught. Just try driving down the interstate in a used old car with no tags dispalyed and see how far you get before being stopped.
McVeigh was many things, but stupid or unplanned was not one of them.

Just another "Brick in the Wall"...let's all sing along...
- TWA 800
- Egypt Airlines
- OK City Federal Building
- Vince Foster
- Starbuck's girl
- Whitewater
- Lying to grand jury
- Sexual harrassment claims
- Selling pardons
- Selling technology to enemies
- Wen Ho Lee
- Suspicious wildfires around
- Missing sensitive security data that SUDDENLY reappears behind a copier
- Trying to steal an election with stupid people using a democrat approved ballot
- Let's just add another brick to the wall....
Instead of leaders we had a sexual deviant and his miscreant wife running the Whitehouse like it were a cheap hotel (in more ways than one)...the flailing flunkies...(noticed the smartest and brightest moved away quickly and started "new careers") who were left behind were too busy explaining and making excuses for all the failures that were plaguing their bosses especially in the areas of national and foreign security...
NOOOOO instead we had a Whitehouse whose big claim to fame was the record number of times it appeared in the tabloids with sleazy news...

Of course he had accomplices. No one has located the 3rd person besides Nicols and McVeigh. Plus the middle east connection has never been explained. Not to mention that the fertilizer bomb was not sufficiently powerful to do the damage the Murrah building sustained.
Yeah, there were accomplices.
I remember local reporters mentioned additional bombs and the bomb disposal unit on the scene, but of course that went down the memory hole fast.
If anyone cares, just do a Google search with "Partin, OKC cover-up" and discover why air transfer of the explosive force required to take out reinforced concrete beams was IMPOSSIBLE. Who ever set up McVeigh as the patsy planted contact explosives inside the building, the photographic evidence alone proves that.

From the memo, via Drudge link:
"...A witness to the explosion named Grossman claimed to have seen a pale yellow Mercury car with a Ryder T\truck behind it pulling up to the Federal Building. Mr. Grossman further claimed to have seen a woman on the corner waving to the truck. ATSAIC McNally noted that this face is significant due to the fact that the security video shows the Ryder truck pulling up to the Federal Building and then pausing (7-10 seconds) before resuming into a slot in front of the building. Is is speculated that the woman was signalling the truck when a slot became available..."

I've been saying for quite some time to release the video tapes.
Just one thread...
Time to unseal videotapes of Murrah Federal BuildingWhile Burton now says that J.W. Reser's claims were untrue, the former policeman's accusations were taken seriously for good reason. A federal judge confirmed the existence of the videotapes in a little publicized Freedom of Information Act case last year.
To: JOAT
I also seem to remember witnesses and audio tape describing three separate explosions. The pond draining explanation of that was that what people heard and machines recorded were merely echo's of one single explosion.
