HAS ANYONE NOTICED HOW SELDOM NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO HAS MENTIONED PAT TILLMAN?
Listening to NPR

I listen to National Public Radio every day usually at least two times a day. I have heard nothing about Pat Tillman on National Public Radio. I find that rather interesting in light of the fact that NPR has plenty of time to mention every single U.S. death occurring in Iraq, Afghanistan and anywhere in the world U.S. troops are stationed.
Also of interest is the fact that U.S. deaths are tallied one at a time and about zero mention is made of the numbers of enemy combatants killed. It is becoming obvious that National Public Radio and several media outlets are not just guilty of omission, they are actively reporting in a biased way so as to destroy U.S. morale. The media, NPR included, is the propaganda arm of the enemies of this nation. The biggest mystery of all is why the United States Government does do something about this. Why does the Republican congress still provide funding for National Public Radio? Why? I feel like I am living in a nation as a complete foreigner and stranger or perhaps an illegal alien. And, maybe that's the way they want me to feel.

Maybe it is time to move to another country and suffer as a verifiable foreigner/stranger/outcast than to continue living here and keep believing it is MY country. I need help.

I would guess that he was not their ideal citizen, though he truly was the ideal American.

I did a search on their site with their search engine, and got a whopping FOUR hits for "Pat Tillman".

Pat Tillman represents everything wrong with America. Honor, integrity, patroiotism, just to mention a few. Those are all evil characteristics.

I perhaps would have noticed, except that I never listen to NPR.Truly understand. I'm not a fan of NPR, just listen for international news every now and then and to know the liberal mindset (Study thy enemy...). Fascinating how the choose to omit mention of Tillman or his heroism, bravery, self-sacrifice, etc. Traitorous and prosecutable in the future.

That woman who lost that standoff with an Isreali tractor got more mention in one day.

Another thing not pointed out in the rush to paint Iraq as The Next Vietnam (guess Afghanistan lost out as contender for The Next Vietnam) is the number of civilian deaths, including women and children, caused by so-called "insurgents". Those are getting quite high.

Hmmm... Maybe they are just honoring Tillman's own wish - not to be singled out or elevated above the thousands of other brave Americans who are serving their country.

National People's Radio has a segment called "All Things Considered", which is double-speak, for "Only Liberal Things Considered".

It is becoming obvious that National Public Radio and several media outlets are not just guilty of omission, they are actively reporting in a biased way so as to destroy U.S. morale. The media, NPR included, is the propaganda arm of the enemies of this nation... This morning's NPR did briefly mention Tillman's death right before the real feature article where the 'reporter' interview U.S. 'military members in Iraq' who hated Bush and hated the war because 'Bush stole the election' and their opposition to 'blood for oil'...I am NOT making this up.
NPR is the pig.

I agree. Tillman didn't want to be an icon in life. I don't think he would have wanted to be an icon in death.
Recognize his sacrifice, sure, especially as representative of all the others who have served. But continuing to use his name in examples such as this is starting to border on politicizing him and his service, which he made clear was something he DIDN'T want.

I do notice that NPR gets a gazillion bucks of my tax monies so they can spew their liberal leftest ilk. I do notice that NPR is strictly a wing of the Democratic Party subsidized by the taxpayer. I would like to notice that NPR has been discontinued because it does not represent the average US citizen and is money spent unwisely.

Well that is another heroic quality of Tillman, but I have some EPA superfund land to sell you if you really believe that is why NPR ignored the story.
