I hope that someday Mel tackles the story, of Hernan Cortez and the conquest of the Aztec empire.

I'd prefer to see that. The PC police would go nuts. There doesn't seem to be any overriding moral to this story that I can see (Romans bad, Celtics good?), which is disappointing.

Right on! Those Aztecs were a bad virgin sacrificing lot. The Latino communists love the barbaric Aztec regardless of the heart stabbing taking it out while beating, and the worship of pagan gods. In the warped world we live in the Aztecs are the noble smarts and the Spanisg Europeans are the savages.
