I'd often wondered why it hadn't been made into a feature film yet, given the rash of old historical epics, and the bonus it can be a "female empowerment" story (I'm terrified of someone like Julia Roberts or Nicole Kidman getting cast as Boudicca.)
PBS had a short miniseries on Boudicca with the English doctor from "ER" in the starring role, it was pretty good, she was good at screaming and lopping of the heads of Romans with swords, which is what you really want from Boudicca.

I don't think Julia "Horse Mouth" Roberts, or Nicole "Beanpole" Kidman are bodacious enough to play Boudicca.
