Senate panel to hold more hearings on prisoner abuse (General Taguba to testify tomorrow)
Associated Press | May 10, 2004

The Senate Armed Services Committee will hear tomorrow from the general who wrote the report detailing the abuse of Iraqi prisoners. General Antonio Taguba's 50-page report found numerous "sadistic, blatant and wanton criminal abuses" at the Abu Ghraib prison near Baghdad.

The committee will also hear tomorrow from several Pentagon officials, including the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence, Stephen Cambone.

The announcement comes as the Pentagon grapples with whether still-unreleased photos that allegedly show abuse should be released to the public.

I look forware to hearing what he has to say - it appears he has served with honor,

and his father fought in the Battle of Bataan.

He is Army, from an Army family, so he knows Army culture, and does not appear to be a Clinton appointee...

But when do they get around to grilling CBS executives for putting our soldiers' lives in danger?
