Man, I don't know how you have stood it this long.

The next step is to use the Massachusetts statute to sue in federal court. We may have homosexual marriage nationwide a lot quicker than we think.

The City of Newton, where I live, is waiving the 3 day waiting period and actually marrying two of the original plaintiffs tomorrow at 3:00 PM.

This will be followed by a wedding cake and reception on the city hall grounds and the public is invited. The taxpayer will pick up the expenses for the additional security they are going to provide.

I plan on being ther----should be intersting.

I bet it will be. Don't do anything boisterous. Just find a reporter and tell them that you think homosexual "marriage" isn't really marriage, and will contribute to the decline of our culture.

From the archives of 4 years ago --

MIDI - IT'S A SMALL WORLD

It is Saturday, the first one in June
You will get to see some perversion soon

They will put on a show
Where did Walt Disney go?
He is rolling in his grave

It’s a gay world, Disneyland…it’s a gay world, Disneyland
It’s a gay world, Disneyland…better guard your rear

Through the gates they come…they are holding hands
And each day we’ll see some brand new demands

They will put on a show
Where did Walt Disney go?
He is rolling in his grave

With an organ this is forever true
With a couple you don’t want none or two

They will put on a show
Where did Walt Disney go?
He is rolling in his grave

It’s a gay world, Disneyland…it’s a gay world, Disneyland
It’s a gay world, Disneyland…better guard your rear

Every chance they get, they are in your face
And each spectacle is a big disgrace

They will put on a show
Where did Walt Disney go?
He is rolling in his grave

I found the following excerpt on the MSNBC website:

The 'Will & Grace' Effect
With Massachusetts leading the way, gay marriage is slowly becoming a reality—and dividing generations
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/4987495/

"Even so, there wasn't much opponents could do to stop this week's weddings. Gov. Mitt Romney—a Republican who leans conservative on social issues, even in this most Democratic of states—fought the November court decision approving same-sex marriages. He then pushed for a constitutional amendment to ban them. One version passed the state legislature but must be ratified again by lawmakers and voters—and wouldn't take effect before 2006. In the meantime, eager to preserve his national prospects within the GOP, Romney tried to bar out-of-state couples from tying the knot. Marriage opponents still complained that Romney didn't go far enough. Last week former GOP presidential candidate Alan Keyes launched a $40,000 TV and radio ad campaign chiding Romney for refusing to help recall the four state supreme court judges who backed gay marriage. A weary Romney seemed resigned to the inevitable last week: he said he would attend gay weddings if invited."

". . . attend gay weddings if invited"??????? Say what? I feel like I'm living in a nightmare. Why isn't Gov. Romney reining in these liberal judges? It seems like he has a "if you can't beat them, join them" attitude.

I, generally, don't care what Gays do with thier time or thier lives. But, for whatever they will do, it seems they lack political awareness for anything but thier own precious cause.

In general, they are not politically savvy, and they are pushing thier so-called "rights" beyond what the electorate will stomach in the short term.

Massachussets is liberal insofar as it beneifits the hand wringing politicos and those on the receiving end of those benefits. But, the general population has been asleep at the wheel on this topic. They will be awakened Monday morning to thier own negligence, and they will not like what they've become; the national example of extremism. That, when most of the people I know from Massachussets are quite conservative on family issues.

Gays could have had all the rights afforded to straights witout making a scene, and nobody would've cared that much. Now, theyre creating a inner party backlash that will, mark my words, drive more conservative minded democrats away from the table.

I was beginning to think we'd have to wait for immigration to bring Kalifornia to its knees, and for all the rich, white liberals to realize Mexicans won't return their sympathies before we saw the beginning of cultural outrage in this country, but this could do it a lot sooner.

As soon as that ruling came out a couple of days ago, other states started jumping on the bandwagon. I'm ok with some sort of civil partnership for legal reasons, but the sanctity of marriage needs to be preserved. I think that the politicos are way overestimating support for this in some sort of liberal induced, PC fantasy.
