I've been boycotting for years now, ever since I got FoxNews and the internet.
Treason is as treason does.
Guess I'm out. I don't read or watch any of these. I don't even visit their websites. They are not my sources of news.
I did not see the beheading video but even so I still lost some sleep over it because JUST THE THOUGHT . . .
::Sigh:: I finally got myself to watch the video...and it took a lot out of me. However, having had not seen the video before all the conspiracy chat was abound, I can honestly say there is something fishy about it.
First off - and I had to go through some very disturbing websites to find it... - the biggest thing I noticed was that the picture kept skipping, which if my limitied knowledge of video serves me means that there were stops and starts in the shooting, and that speech was not read in one piece. What that means, I couldn't say.
But there were other things, and it may have just been the video I saw but the sound was out of synch (esp. noticeable when the scum jump him and pin him to the ground) and yes, their skin is a bit to white for my liking, and there was little to no blood during or after the beheading.
This could mean that they had bled him beforehand (for some disgusting torture-related reason, no doubt) or that this someone wasn't real.
Listen, that was gross, and I never want to see it again, but I felt I had to, as I think many would agree. Of course, regardless of all this we still cannot trust the media to prioritze their news stories by importance - they've got ratings-needs and political agendas that prevent this.
Personally, I think you all should view the video and judge for yourselves...
C.O'D.

Maybe if the boycott got some legs, it could be extended to all major newspapers....
IN!
I stopped watching the alphabet news broadcasts and reading the newspaper[s] during the impeachment hearings.
I have no desire to return to watching network news or reading the newspapers.
