MOHAMMED, JESUS AND NICK

You mention that the topic on Free Republic for the past few days has been the Nick Berg Abu Ghraib “retaliation” murder. As Islam preaches “an eye for an eye,” you’d think the six Muslim captors would have stripped Nick Berg, tied him to a bunk, and covered his head with a pair of women's panties!
Instead, this video is the most brutal thing I’ve ever seen. They mercilessly roll Nick onto his stomach while a practitioner of the "Religion of Peace" jumps on his back with his knee, and another member of "one of the world's great religions" yanks Nick's head up by the hair and works a small knife back and fourth across Nick's throat. The others leap up and down with enthusiasm as though it were a school yard fight.
As soon as the carving began, these men of religious conviction praised their father in heaven: "Allah is great!" I think it's fair to assume they did this in "His" name. Yet they found it necessary to hide their faces from the camera. If their deed was good, why the concealment?
Two thousand years ago, when soldiers came for Christ, a disciple cut off a soldier’s ear during the confrontation. Rather than jump up and down and chant "God is great," Christ performed a miracle and healed the soldier’s injury. Yet Christ yet advocated to his disciples that they should defend themselves, and told them to arm themselves with swords.
Luke 22:36 He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it and also a bag: and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. It is written: 'And he was numbered with many transgressors', and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment." The disciples said, "See, Lord, here are two swords:" "That is enough," He replied.
I take this to mean Christ understood if the disciples were going to travel, they would need to protect themselves from bandits. But Christ didn't want his ministry to be of the sword, hence his words, "That is enough."
The opposition between the teachings of Christianity and Islam are stark. Christ teaches us to turn the other cheek; Mohammed advocated an eye for an eye. Christ preaches love; Mohammed preached hatred. Christ preaches equality for everyone in God's eyes; Mohammed taught inequality and second class citizenship for infidels and women.
Christ teaches us to spread the gospel through witness and testimony; Mohammed embraced intimidation and bloody Jihad. Christ teaches us of a heaven that transcends the flesh; Mohammed tempted his followers with promises of carnal delights after death. Christ preaches free will; Mohammed taught coercion and intimidation.
Even the symbolism marks the contrasts: Christ’s is a radiant light, Islam’s, a crescent moon -- the dim light in the darkness. Dare I say Muhammad is the antichrist?
Women are used as a weapon in Islam. Wealthy men can have numerous wives and concubines, while poor men have none. The disparity creates an atmosphere of extreme inequality and a class structure that is not easily altered. Since there is no capitalism, wealthy men hoard their wealth, while poor men are promised a reward of 72 virgins if they die protecting the social structure of the rich.
Whadda racket! Covering women with burkas, castrating them, hoarding them, all leads to a tremendous amount of sexual frustration for men unable to find or afford a wife. Homosexuality is seen as a sin punishable by death, yet to find a release, many Muslim men shamefully practice it in secret, creating an even more powerful reason to make right with Allah.
Suicide bombers, terrorists, and Jihadists are promised 72 virgins regardless of whether they have led a life of virtue -- the act of martyrdom absolves them of past transgressions. That's why so many of the 9/11 terrorists went to strip bars, paid for prostitutes, rented X-rated films and got drunk on the eve of their martyrdom. As long as they die killing infidels, they've got a free ticket to paradise.
Why can't we live peacefully alongside this "religion of peace?" The truth is, WE can -- it is Islamists who cannot function next to our culture. Theirs depends on subjugation, oppression and intimidation – and you can't do that beside a free people.
Sexuality of muslim men (this is from first hand observations):
1. "Men are for pleasure and women are for (male) babies."
2. It is not homosexual activity is you are the "pitcher" or the one "penetrating."
3. Non-muslim women are all whores and prostitutes
4. Sex with non-muslim women doesn't count (as cheating) because they are infidels
5. If a muslim women is raped, it is her fault (she should have fought back harder)
6. It is OK to marry 13 year olds and have up to 4 wives. It is OK to divorce a wife once she gets too old and add a younger bride to your "stable"
This is their mindset. The quicker you understand this the better you will comprehend their bizarre behavior...
Good insights. I don't think Islam teaches an eye for an eye, though. Or, if it does, the teaching isn't followed too well. An eye for an eye is a limiting thing in Mosaic law. One eye (only) for one eye. Not 234 eyes for one eye. Islam as practiced in the Middle East seems like the 234 eyes for one eye practice of the pre-mosaic tribes.

I think this really bears looking into. This man you refuse to credit has a couple billion followers 1300 years later. I'm not well versed enough to know all of the indicators of the antichrist, but from my limited knowledge, it seems plausable.
Muhammed was definitely against Christ, for he has taught that Jesus never did die, but was taken to heaven by God.
Then Muhammed taught that Jesus will return, then follow Muhammed, and then die after 40 year.
But Jesus came to destroy death, and no one will have to die again after Jesus comes, so Muhammed missed the whole point of Christ coming to earth. Jesus came to redeem man, and to take the obedient, or the ones who love Jesus and have been forgiven, home with him to heaven. There is hope only in Jesus. Only Jesus has the power to save.

I enjoyed reading this post. Since this war started I began to read the Old Testament. It has really opened my eyes about my thoughts on war. When the wicked would sacrifice their children to Baal, God told his people to go kill all the men, women, children, livestock, etc....they were not to leave alive one thing. We as a Christian nation are responsible for killing those that are against the one true God if that is the season of war that God calls for. Leave out all the names of this war and it comes down to God/Satan. Plain and simple..I have no doubt in my mind who will win out. All of us that know the Bible ...know the end to this story.
The bottom line is: if Christ is who He said He was, the Eternal One...then one day soon Islam is going to be shattered completely. There's not going to be Mohammed & Jesus sharing the same position (authority).
I just pray the benighted muslim masses see the True Light of Christ before that day comes and turn away from their false cult. If not, bummer for them.
Enjoyed your comments. Frankly, I'm still an angry p*ssed off American over the events surrounding the horrific brutal death of Nick Berg and the deafening silence from the islamic world. We Americans were treated to a better part of two weeks of America-Bush Admin bashing by the press, congressional members, islamics, and a host of others over Abu Ghraib. But a young American man (he physically resembled my son) was kidnapped and brutally murdered, while the offspring of a vile culture and satanist religion yelling their nonsense "Allah is great" to counter the screams of pain, agony and horror by this young man while their ugly cowardly faces were covered. America bashing people were so caught up with their thrills that this man's death was by-passed. Where's the outrage? Well, I'm carrying around enough for 5 people. America helped the islamics in a false and illegal war in Yugoslavia and now in Afghanistan and Iraq. Islamics by the very nature of their vile cultish religion and corrupt good for nothing culture breeds nothing good but more false doctrine and murderers. Islam is evil and produces nothing good, and should be eradicated from the face of this earth.
You're right...it doesn't teach an eye for an eye. It teaches an arm for a loaf of bread...or death for the VICTIM of rape. There is nothing as just, as an eye for an eye in the Muslim Faith.
