Listening to Rush interview Mary Matalin.
It is a very good interview. Rush even asked how "serpenthead" is doing at the beginning and Mary said that that they don't talk politics in an election year.
They went on to talk about how the democrats and the media are going into basic overkill overdrive over abu gharib.
After the break, Rush and Mary, talked about Mary's new book "Letters to my Daughters". It is basically Mary writing down advice for her daughters if she passes away. She did it because her mother passed away when she was young. They got into some sentimental discussion on how hard it is to raise kids today and that it seemed that their parents seemed to have the knack for parenthood because they grew up in tough times(i.e the Depression, World War II).
interviweing=interviewing
I listened to some of that and I'm glad he didn't mention her wacko husband James Carville.
Sorry Mary, but you can't be trusted OR respected...not by me anyway.
I find something wrong when she laughs at her husbands parodies.
I am sure that we are not alone in trying to understand the mystifying logic in a mary type marrying a james type. I always like what comes out of her mouth, but I just can't grasp her mental state for staying married to him.
I'll always suspect that she had a hand in helping Clinton get elected. She is not solely to blame but I think she helped by misadvising Bush Sr on many occasions.
is James CarVILE's wife. She can say the right things we want to hear, but she goes home to the enemy. And, I do mean he is an enemy of Amrica. I would not trust her at all.
By me either. How can a conservative be married to an absolutely whacked out liberal? What are they trying to promote - a "he said she said" type scenario? Is it just about publicity?
I basically listened to the whole interview and she was pretty good hearted about the jabs about serpenthead. Rush didn't give her any slack about her husband and his maniacal rantings.
He got jabs in, in a humorous way. And Mary didn't disagree with Rush.
I, myself, would rather be dead in a ditch than married to James Carville. I can't understand/respect that woman.
No problem, but I will state, that Ms. Matalin is a good and smart woman, and also have to agree somewhat in the animus in her choice of a mate.
Her first piece of advice to her daughters should be to stay away from a Gollum-looking leftist jerk like James Carville.
Clinton is skum and so is her husband.
To each their own. You have a right to that opinion. I don't think she is evil, just terribly misguided.
I have a good friend who would do anything in the world for anyone. She is in the 3rd year of an abusive relationship with a man I advised her against dating in the first place. She wants out but can't bring herself to throw him out of her house. She is paying for his continued education etc.. In return he treats her like a doormat but only occasionally beats the dust out of her.
She is a good, smart, and very pretty woman, who is terribly misguided.
Now
I doubt Carville beats Mary but he is totally revolting to me.
- her side lost and their side won in 1992.
If the tables had been turned, their would have been nary a mention of it in the press or on the evening news. Instead, Tom Brokejaw and Petah Jennings-Al-Faluja covered it like the second coming of Diana and Charles.
Huh, you and Carville(serpenthead) actually agree about Iraq.
IIRC, saddam was no threat, to you two.
Ok I did hear him bring up Carville then. I didn't know he was referred to as "serpenthead". A very fitting name.
If Bill Clinton were in office today and decided that an invasion of Iraq was warranted, James Carville would be on television every night praising X-42 for "finishing the job that George Bush couldn't finish himself in 1991."
Serpenthead has been used as a nickname for Carvile for at least the almost 6 years I have been registered on FR.
Again this is just my opinion but listening to Mary on Rush's show, I thought her as sincere, and yet can understand, the qualms of many on FR, with her choice of mate and father of her children.
I am not trying to change hearts or minds about Mary Matalin, just giving my opinion.
