How about posting a pic?
An American general in charge of U.S.-run prisons in Iraq when the abuse of prisoners took place has been suspended as commander of the military police brigade at the heart of the scandal and removed from active duty, the Army said on May 24, 2004. Brig. Gen. Janis Karpinski, who had commanded the 800th Military Police Brigade, was suspended from her duties, said Lt. Col. Pamela Hart, an Army spokeswoman at the Pentagon. Karpinski is pictured outside Abu Ghraib prison near Baghdad in this July 20, 2003 file photo.

How so? Please explain to me how Clinton takes the blame for this.
She was nominated for Brigadier General by President Bush and Secretary Rumsfeld on March 12th, 2003.
She, along with every other US Army Reserve nominee to Major General and Brigadier General from the March 12th list, was confirmed by a Republican majority Senate on March 31st 2003
She was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General on November 7th, 2003.
Well, understand. I just like blaming Clinton for stuff!
( What can I say: I don't get out much and everybody needs a hobby! )
However, she must have been in and of a high rank before Bush ever showed up!
( and THANK YOU for your service to our country! )
Regards,
Might I recommend drinking single malt scotch, smoking unfiltered ciarettes or eating high fat foods as better hobbies.
Much less strain on the body and brain than hating/blaming Old Bill.
Let the other guys hate.
Actually I like a good single malt!
And I DO smoke the occaisonal cigar!
;-)
"She was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General on November 7th, 2003."
Did she enlist on November 6th, 2003?
What is your real question, because you know that a) she obviously did not and b) officers do not enlist, they are commissioned?
She was commissioned in April 1977. Obviously Carter's fault.
No matter whose fault it is, this woman was not fit to preside over a quilting bee, let alone supervise MPs. or run a prison.
Fully concur. A lot of people on multiple threads want to see a Clinton conspiracy behind every bad apple in the Army. And that was the point of my original post.
People who know very little about the Army ascribe way too much political influence at very low levels. If anything, this administration has its direct hand much deeper on the promotion process than the previous one.
Too many people forget we take our oath to the Constitution and serve all Presidents with our patrotism, valor, fidelity, and special abilities as outlined in our commission.
Try using 11-count fabric and three strands of thread, or maybe 7 count (called Klostern) and 4-6 strands. Also, get the charts made bigger on a xerox machine. we can't afford to lose even one embroiderer. Let me know.
