We don't know that for sure either. We are the top dog in the world, so they might target us anyway. We should be eliminating them as fast as we can, so they can't get here, even though many of them are already living in the US.
Lord Haw-haw lives!
Are we sure it isn't roberrt Fisk?
I'm wondering what his freeper name is?
Brilliant, if you are not a troll and have an open mind, think about this. Know Thy Enemy! What has the enemy said for 30 years? Israel is the little Satan, the USA is the Great Satan. If we throw Israel to the wolves, we'll only end up with more wolves. BTW, Osama Bin Laden before 9/11 had hardly said two words about Israel.
I wonder if he's the same John W. Willmott who at http://www.radioislam.org/islam/english/debate/wilmot2.htm was urging Muslims to unite and was asking, "Any of you know where I can post a pro freedom and justice website free from Jewish or U.S. Government intervention?"
If we throw Israel to the wolves, we'll only end up with more wolves.
Oh, it will be the same number of wolves, but they'll just have one target, us.
I found that site as well, when I was trying to figure out who this guy is. From the sound of it, it's probably the same one.
the declining condition of American security, reputation, credibility, respect and prosperity brought on by flawed U.S. foreign policy, failed and or no diplomacy and the use of threats, strangling illegal embargoes, Presidential imperialist sanctions and the illegal, preemptive and unilateral use of the U.S. Military against other sovereign peoples and nations.
Isn't it amazing what George W.Bush has been able to accomplish in such a short time!
Why, X42 couldn't do this in 8 years!
Boy, you talk about kooks! They got 'em at that website.
No brainer. It ain't our Bill of Rights or they want our women to wear Burkas. It is because we have military bases on their lands just like we were targeted in Vietnam. It is their 'Monroe Doctrine'.
So if we want to be there, we have to expect opposition. Our decision is based on - is it is worth it? We believe it is worth it - either for oil, for Israel or to assert power. So people should not act surprised -'targeting' that's what happens in war. And the war has been going on a lot prior to 9/11.
Anyone who thinks that if we pulled out of the Middle East and allowed Israel to be obliterated would result in the terrorists not targeting us is hopelessly naive.
They expressed it numerous times, that they want to turn the entire world into some Islamic Empire.
You're right. It would be much better to line up with the House of Saud. Large black garbage bags would be immediately required for all our women, plus they would have to sit in the back seats of cars driven only by male relatives. But the good news is that our men only have to practice Islam when they're in the Kingdom, and outside they can gamble, booze and whore just like the thousands of Saudi males.
It might be a little difficult at first because al-Queda (who really knows how to spell that?) was formed in Saudi Arabia and their people did bring down the two World Trade Center Towers, but when all else fails we can always blame everything on the Israelis. And just think how the U.N. will love it because condemning Israel is their favorite pastime.
It's so much easier than condemning any other country, no matter what atrocities they've done. Zimbabwe, Cuba, North Korea, etc. are irreproachable, but you can always get votes against Israel as the world knows. Let's go with the Saudis.
We are targeted because most of the non-Christian world sees us as a decaying society that they want no part of.
They view us as infidels because of things such as gay marriage, abortion, drug use, no justice, anti religious and everything in between. They see us as a virus, waiting to spread our infectious society on theirs. Their only option is to eradicate it in the name of Islam.
Funny thing, in this country practicing this type of behavior is what the ACLU believes the first Amendment provides for us. The Moslem world views this with disdain.
While it is true there is hatred for the Jews, that is their form of self loathing. They hate the Jews because of their jealousy. Not unlike how the liberals hate the conservatives.
American liberalism, starting during the Johnson administration and going farther and farther to the left each year is the primary cause of most of the world hating America. Once we were strong. We were decisive in our global war against communism. We were a nation that believed that given the chance, anyone regardless of race, creed or religion could excel at whatever it was he or she wanted to excel at.
Look at who wants to prevent that from happening. Look at who, under the guise of being protected by the first amendment wants to prevent freedom of speech, freedom to practice religion and other basic rights given to us by the Constitution.
The minute we became a society where deviance was rewarded and power was gained by selling out the citizenry, we no longer were respected by the rest of the world. If you cannot respect yourself, why should anyone else respect you.
That is why we are hated.
Don't disagree with you on that. It is a matter of choice of weapons. Our weapon is military. I don't see them charging into battle on camels waving AK47s. Their weapon is motherhood.
Their battlefield is migrating increased population while we kill off our children. They will utilize Time, Democracy, and Economics [the need for workers]. If you hire them, they will come and if they come they will vote. Check out expected Europe in a hundred years. Wonder how Islam plans to takeover China?
2. Don't give a rat's ass!
Now that that's out of the way, some other thoughts:
Whoever wrote this piece will be glad to know that the past three victors in American presidential races have gotten "under half" of the popular vote. That's how we do it in a democratic republic, ass-munch!
It's de jure,
you tool!
Uh, what was my point again?
Oh yeah. Al Jazeera should get a newer name, slightly more reflective of its true colors.
Maybe something along the lines of: "The pack of horse-teethed Jackasses!
I kind of think that's better than calling them, "The Peninsula."
What do you think?
This decline began before George W. Bush came to office. But when he came to office as legal de juris President by order of the Supreme Court with less than half of the popular vote and thereby, he had no mandate to summarily abrogate treaties, International Laws, threaten other nations to do it the Bush way or else and insult not only long time allies, opponents and those considered enemies or potential enemies.
Algore Junior LOST, get over it. President Bush got 0.52% less of the popular vote, there was no mandate for Algore to be President. Additionally the Republicans gained seats in 2002. That is President Bush's mandate.
Candidate Bush got a larger percentage of voters and a larger number of voters than Bill Clinton EVER got (in 1992 or 1996). The press never said that Bill Clinton did not have a mandate to go deploying troops around the globe.
Our very freedoms are being turned against the people. And liberal Democrats are the first to cry 'repression' and then try to repress their ideological opponents.
You're a 'homophobe' if you think that the human anatomy wasn't designed for anal sex and fisting. Don't mention the Christian God that the founders mentioned all the time.
It goes on and on, while the traditional fabric is torn apart and there are no real borders, anyone can be a citizen if they sneak into the U.S. and have an anchor baby. But these are future Democratic voters and the Republican Party goes right along.
Why expect respect if we don't respect ourselves, indeed.
Bottom line: George W. Bush had the courage to do the right thing no matter what the consequences. He may win or he may lose the next election, but if he loses, at least we had a president with the courage to do the right thing for four years. You can't say that about Bubba Clinton, and if Kerry becomes president, you won't be able to say that about him.
Courage, integrity, values: W.
If we fail Israel, we are meat.
