BOOK BARES CHENEY'S 9/11 HIDEOUT
New York Post ^ | 6/07/04 | ALEX GINSBERG

June 7, 2004 -- Consider the undisclosed location disclosed. In the weeks after the 9/11 attacks, Vice President Dick Cheney hid out at "Site R," an underground bunker seven miles from Camp David, deep beneath Raven Rock Mountain on the Maryland-Pennsylvania border, says intelligence expert James Bamford in a new book due out tomorrow.

In "A Pretext for War," Bamford describes Cheney's secure location as "a secret world of five buildings, each three stories tall, computer-filled caverns and a subterranean water reservoir," according to a review in the June 14 issue of Time magazine.

Apparently, making a buck is more important to some people than the secutity of our leaders.

Several members of the press allowed themselves to be "kidnapped" essentially when they sought interviews with Osama bin Laden (pre-9/11).

Reportedly some journalists didn't want to share their experiences with the authorities.

The media won't ever discuss the double standard.

Unbelievable. Now the tax payers get to foot the bill for the new hideout because this jackass has to blow his pathetic wad in public.

So when will the thought that this idiot has provided "Aid and Comfort" to the enemy be brought up?

To tell you the truth, Site R is not such a big secret.

I think we have several such sites where the Government can relocate in time of nuclear war, etc.

Here's just one of many links on the internet describing the site:

Actually, Raven Rock is pretty well known around the area. The first time I saw it was the late '70s when I drove by the entrance with a friend from the area. He told me it was the "underground Pentagon".

Not much a terrorist could do even if they knew he was there. It was built to withstand a direct Soviet nuclear attack.

Many of the facilities that make up the Federal Relocation Arc are well know. I always chuckle driving through Virginia on Route 17 when I see the sign pointing to "Mt. Weather", which is the "underground White House".

Thanks, Kattracks. It never has been >>that<< secret, but good people simply don't talk about it in public.

Good bicycling territory, though. Too bad they closed Camp David hill (which isn't that far away).

Reminds me of the bunker under the Greenbrier here in WV. We all knew about it but just didn't talk about it. We had no idea how big a "secret" it was to the rest of the country until it was "exposed".

The media is totally without honor or standards that are recognizable to decent people everywhere.

NO, you have to understand that they have been taught to ridicule our ideals and principles their entire life. If you do not like that, thank thhe education establishment including the uniouns and the courts. The notion is that what they call "dissent" is a holy sacrament.

They are sad because their pose of critic is all they really have. They are empty because life holds nothing more than being slick and a smart alleck. This is why they are without moorings and always oppose unless they feel they are being personally recognized or rewarded.

James Bamford has some excellent sources. His "Body of Secrets" has some information in it that had I written and published, I'd be in the slammer right now.

Too late. Vince Flynn, in "Memorial Day," already exposed this. Course, it's fiction, so you can't believe it, right?

[ 36 ] Testimony of a Traitor

It appears that Buck may have been at least partly responsible for the nuclear holocaust that nearly destroyed the Earth. A recently-found video tape from the 20th century provides enough evidence for Commissioner Bergstrom to start a war crime trial against Buck, who will be put to death if found guilty. In order to prove his innocence, Buck once again is placed under the mind probe, where his memories only seem to further indicate his guilt."
