FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
COALITION SOLDIERS QUESTION NEWS MEDIA FOLLOWING ROADSIDE BOMB
MOSUL, Iraq - Coalition soldiers questioned two news media cameramen and a reporter after a roadside bomb exploded near a Coalition convoy two kilometers north of Mosul June 3.
The media, who were at the scene prior to the attack, told soldiers at the scene they had received a tip to be at that location prior to the attack and they had witnessed the explosion.
There was minimal damage to a Coalition vehicle, a cracked windshield, and no serious injuries.
3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division soldiers requested the media accompany them to a base camp in Mosul to answer questions as witnesses to the incident. The news media representatives left the base camp in the mid afternoon.

A talk show host in my area just mentioned this. It seems that we now have people CALLING THE MEDIA ahead of time so they can get good photo's of our troops in an ambuse.
All I want to know is the name of these pukes and who they work for. Notice how none of this has been reported.

Doesnt the Michael Moore film have a scene with our troops being ambushed? I thought I saw it in the trailer.

This is the third or fourth time this news has been posted (that I've seen) and still no mention of just what organization these "media" folks worked for.
Alas...

Nothing surprises me these days. What, if anything, can be done to these "reporters"?

Are these "reporters" actually arab stringers that are sent out to gather footage, photos and quotes while the "real journalists" hide in their hotels in Bagdead?

Reporters, putting coalition soldiers in danger by NOT WARNING THEM about a "pre-arranged" bomb, ARE JUST AS GUILTY AS THE ONES WHO PLANTED THE BOMB TO BEGIN WITH...
That is 100 times worse than a pile of naked terrorists in a jail cell...embarassment doesn't hurt near as much as "dead" does.
The "journalists" who did this should be locked up as terrorists.
Contrary to the kerry/clinton mindset, no photo opp is worth a life...
