Saudi prince: Zionism to blame for terror attack
MSNBC ^ | 6/15/2004 | Lisa Myers

Posted on 06/15/2004 10:23:21 PM PDT by backtothestreets

With regard to the recent attacks on westerners in Saudi Arabia, Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah made the following remarks:

“Zionism is behind it. It has become clear now. It has become clear to us. I don’t say, I mean... It is not 100 percent, but 95 percent that the Zionist hands are behind what happened.”

Saudi Prince Nayef, the Saudi Interior Minister said, “Al-Qaida is backed by Israel and Zionism.”

Some call this dangerous Saudi doubletalk. “The crown prince’s statements are inflammatory and irresponsible,” said Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine. “On the one hand they say reassuring words to American leaders, but on the other hand they spout inflammatory anti-Semitic rhetoric for their domestic population.”

This mess just continues to brew. Does anyone see a happy ending to this story? I don't know what the answer is. I tend to believe we need to recognize the doubletalk, and respond in kind. Let's step up our cooperation with Saudi Arabia.

I suggest we help rid Saudi Arabia of their Zionist problem by sending them a few missles. Let's see, that would be one for Riyadh, one for Mecca, one for Tabūk, and a few for their remaining large urban areas.

Phil Hendrie on KFI in Los Angeles has it all figured out!

First, we quit helping the Saudi Arabians and let Al Quaida take their nation over. Then we have 'em cornered in a terrorism sponsoring state that we add to "The Axis Of Evil." Then we go in and clean 'em out like we did in Ashcanistan!!! WOT = OVER!!! NEXT!!!

Must be an unconditional (knee-jerk) reflex. As soon as the crown prince eats something disagreeable and has an indigestion, it will be blamed on Zionists, 100% sure.

The saudi leaders are both hopeless and helpless. Totally consumed with hatred of Jews to the point of blindness. Al Qaeda knows they can take out the royals. Its only a matter of time. Then we will have to strike them hard.

This story about the Yanbu attack being linked to the Jews by the Saudi leadership may be news to MSNBC, but it is old news which was widlely reported elsewhere last month. I wonder which dune MSNBC have had their head in all this time.

More timely, and to the point, watch what the Saudi government did, is, or is not, doing with regard to the attack on the foreign worker housing compound last week in Al Khobar and the American currently being held by Al Qaeda in Saudi under threat of death.

I know what Bush says about the Saudis. He's borderline in his description of that friendship. If he ever comes close to paraphrasing Neville Chamberlain's quotation "peace in our time", I'll know it's time to plant a victory garden to be ahead of the masses.

Wow, I was hoping that maybe they might be figuring out how to marginalize al Qaeda in the minds of their citizens. They've tried the "Its a Zionist Plot" gambit to explain individual terrorist attacks before (as in 9/11), but to explain the existence of al Qaeda itself??? - that's just so stupid it's got to be total desperation on their part.

What's scary is, I'm sure a certain percentage of the Saudi population will believe it.

Oceania was at war with Eurasia. Oceania had always been at war with Eurasia.

"The people of Saudi Arabia are warm, hospitable and friendly. They extend a warm invitation to come and experience this unique and rare destination"

Unless you are a Jew. Then don't even think of coming here. Even if you are an American citizen, or in the US armed forces helping to defend our worthless a##es.

Its the Joooooooos fault! TM The stock Saudi response to every problem besetting them at home - and they're in deep denial about how really bad things are in their own country.

Prince Nayef, the Saudi Interior Minister said, “Al-Qaida is backed by Israel and Zionism.”

Yeah right. Israel is responsible among other things, for 9/11, for the Taliban, and for the insurgency in Iraq. And presumably, Osama Bin Laden is a Zionist puppet. That must must come as news to Bin Laden and his associates. All one can say kindly of Prince Nayef is he is delusional.

I'm sure that Osama bin laden and the rest of his al qaeda brethren aren't insulted by this revelation.

LMAO, these guys are hysterical. The situation however is not. If these delusional bassturds don't get their act together soon it will be too late. As repressive as the Saudi's are, one can only assume that they are letting the terrorists vent on westeners in hopes that the Princes will be spared. Not likely.
