Yeah, but it was Bush's fault.

We KNOW that there were 4 planes for certain. We don't know if there were more. I somehow think there may have been more hits on the agenda, perhaps California. I'm sure the terrorists didn't think we'd order the skies cleared.

Plot Hatched in 1996

Tom Clancy's Debt of Honor Published in 1994, but Khalid Shaikh Mohammed probably had to wait for the paperback edition to come up with the idea

Spoiler Alert: Debt of Honor ends with a commercial airliner crashing into congress during the state of the union and killing the president and most of congress.

Osama Bin Laden planned for Sept 11, because he wanted to do it when Congress was in session.

Hopefully someone in Athens has read the Clancy book about the biological attack at the Olympics.

Clinton was weak as was proven by his actions. Thanks BJ and everyone who voted and supported/supports him.

Years from now, if an attack like 9-11 were to occur after Bush is out of the White House, and it is is found to have been plotted during Bush's tenure, he will be blamed.

But Clinton won't take responsibility on this one at all.

Remind me again who was President in 1996! His name escapes me because I keep hearing how honest he is and that cannot be the same man! :)

Cannot believe they wrote this article -- I am in shock!

Debka has an interesting article pointing out some of the factual inaccuracies in the 9-11 report and pointing out the obvious, that the report's major purpose is to blame everything on Bush.

It's really worth reading it -- it's a good analysis.

Bush and 9/11 Report: Into the Frame (Debka -- makes interesting points)
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1156367/posts

The most implausible conclusion that suggests the 9/11 panel is influenced by a political agenda is its failure to find credible evidence of links between the Saddam regime and al Qaeda.

The interim conclusions reached by the 9/11 commission make sense only if it is presumed that the panel was set up to whitewash certain American and Saudi political and intelligence bodies and pin the entire blame for al Qaeda’s attacks in America on the Bush administration – incidentally dragging in the US president’s ally, the Israeli prime minister.
