Washington-AP -- Leaders of the Nine-Eleven commission say their differences with the White House over al-Qaida's relationship with Saddam Hussein isn't a major point of contention.
The Bush administration used Saddam's alleged link with terrorists as a justification to go to war.
A commission staff report says there were contacts between al-Qaida and Iraq, but they didn't produce a collaborative relationship.
Vice President Cheney has said Iraq did respond to some of Osama bin Laden's requests for assistance.
Commission vice chairman Lee Hamilton tells A-B-C commissioners asked Cheney if he had information they didn't have, and if he did, to turn it over to them.
Hamilton says the White House and the commission agree on one thing -- there's no evidence al-Qaida and Iraq joined forces in the Nine-Eleven attacks.

The editors of the NYT owe the nation an apology since it is clear that their several editorials in the last few days that call Bush and Cheney liars is false. Better yet, the editors should resign.

The NYT and CBS, among others, have sold the soul of their credibility to the Democrats long ago. My advice? Ignore them. They are no long a valid sourse for news. You would be better served reading the World Weekly News.

The NYT accused the President of lying because it claimed that the President's statements were directly contrary to the findings of the Report. Now the folks who wrote the Report say they are not.
Time for an apology from the NYT. Or better yet, since it now appears that they are the liars, they should resign.

I agree with you. But, since it is highly doubtful that the New York Times will either apologize or refrain from carrying the Democrat's water in the near future, I only suggest that we stop referring to the Times as 'The Grey Lady' or giving them any modicum of respect. I choose to ignore them (as I do with network news) and give them no credibility. If anyone references a story from the New York Times, it is the same as if they referenced the World Weekly News in my book. Kind of a shame. The Times used to be an institution. Now it is a whore.

Question: Why would Saddam have a painting made showing his pleasure at 9/11 .. IF he was not a participant in it ..?? Maybe Saddam didn't plan it, organize it, or train the terrorists .. but he could easily have funded it, and provided the place for training as evidenced by the airline shell at Salmon Pak. Send this picture to your local media outlets.
