Speaking of the book, Kristinn was just interviewed standing in the Barnes and Noble in NYC. He bought the Clinton book and talked to FOX News.

It was a nice touch that he was checking the index looking for Riady and Johnny Chung. He had this " I don't understand it" look. Funny.

This man is so damaged, so twisted, and we as a country let him stay in the Oval Office for 8 solid years. It just makes me wretch.

Ditto!

Y'all have to watch Major Garrett's seget on Clinton's book on the replay of Special Report with Brit Hume. He shows people lined up outside a bookstore, Clinton signing books, interviews a couple of stupid women, then he gives about 20 seconds or more to FR's Kristinn. Kristinn talks about the names that aren't in the book, like those involved in the Chinese campaign money scheme, such as Johnny Chung and James Riady. LOL Kudos to Kristin.

He also showed a brief clip from the BBC interview of his tirade against the interviewer. Garrett pointed out that Clinton now confirmed Monica's version of when they first met and how that contricted his Grand Jury testimony.

I've come to believe that the Clinton presidency is about what we would have gotten from a Hugh Hefner presidency - except the women were uglier. For the life of me, I'll never understand why any self-respecting woman would have anything to do with either of these old leches.

This man gives hypocrite a bad name!

At one time, I thought it was some kind of sickness - like the sex. But I am convinced, from watching his proteges (Mike Moore, Terry McAuliffe, Ted Kennedy), that it is in fact a strategy: accuse your opponents of the very thing you are guilty - and do it FIRST, if at all possible. Of course, that means they must be truly, deliberately evil people. But is that so hard to believe? ("Absolute power...") Based on this understanding, it is always pretty clear what they're up to. Unfortunately, he's also something of a Svengali and there are a lot of really, really gullible people out there. I am deeply saddened (truly).

According to Adrian Warnock's UK Blog, "The transcript will be available after the programme on the BBC website."

Him calling the BBC a tool of the far right made me laugh hysterically

****

Does Dimbleby have a known preference - left or right ?

I don't know anything about him.

Well so far as I know Dimbleby hasn't shown his hand as to his ideology. As I said, he's old school.

He should never, ever have acknowledged to Dan Rather that of all his nicknames the one he dislikes the most is "Slick Willie" LOL

I am truly both embarrassed and furious. --

It is truly embarrassing that so many Americans are so very ignorant about people and events and the Clintons! I really fear for the Republic.

By the way, Kathleen Willey was tremendous speaking of Clinton's real nature on Hannity this afternoon. She was brilliant. I really love that girl.

He views public life as "therapy." His presidency was an 8-year Jerry Springer/Beavis&Butthead episode. He seems to be having trouble facing the fact that it is over.

What's funny is he is now stealing campaign time and limelight from Kerry. Hee hee...

I...uh...guess he wants to speak at the Democratic convention as well. Should prove amusing. No doubt he will deliver more self-righteous self-pity.

There are bound to be repercussions from all these interviews and I can't wait to hear from those mentioned, starting with Gingrich.

"I'm sure glad he wasn't CIC when AQ attacked the United States!"

Most people don’t really think about it. The first attack on the WTC was meant to topple the North building into the south at 11:00 am 2.26.93.

Ramzi Yousef, later boasted that he had hoped to kill 250,000 people. Two years later, Yousef was involved in a plot to bomb a dozen US airplanes flying over the Pacific.

He also said if only I had enough money to buy more explosives it would have worked.

Can you imagine one tower falling into the other - right before lunch time

If they succeeded in what they planned it would have been far worse than Sept 11.

And what did clinton do. He fired a few missiles

This is absolutely the bedrock of dem politics. Most of the time what they accuse us of, we haven't even dreamed of doing, much less ARE doing it.

Once we know this, we can recognize their behavior just by holding up a mirror to what they are accusing us of. They telegraph their own venality.

I saw Kristinn and he did great.

He set the example the media should follow--and Major Garrett did do a brief overview of Riady and Chung--by indicating there is more to discuss about Bill Clinton's sorry life than the Jones case and Monica.

Now, I had mentioned Fox before---and I like Brit Hume BUT, they just showed a clip of this BBC interview, and predictably enough, it's the Monica garbage.

I was so pleasantly surprised and intrigued to hear here on FR the interview included questioning about Clinton going to Blair to try and persuade him to pull support from GWB and Iraq. I would have been most pleased if Brit had gone against the grain and highlighted that as his excerpt and the implications of that kind of thing.

Now Mort is segueing to the War on Terror saying Clinton could have--should have started it. And now they are all talking about bin Laden, so kudos to them for not lingering over Monica.

I encourage Freepers to comment on the program on the BBC web site. So far, the comments are heavily critical of Dimbleby and give Clinton a free pass, mostly coming from left wing Brits. Post comments at http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/panorama/3829085.stm
