MOORE ACCEPTS HEZBOLLAH ENDORSEMENT - RECOGNIZES MILLIONS IN $$$ FROM SUPPORTERS IN SYRIA + LEBANON
KRLA ^ | 6/23/04 | Michael Medved

Posted on 06/23/2004 12:52:37 PM PDT by Steven W.

Michael Medved pressed Michael Moore's agents & distributors to reject Hezbolla's terroris endorsement of his Farenheit 9/11 propaganda effort. Medved received official rejection of such calls today with Moores' agents noting that to do so would deny Moore the millions of $$$ he is expecting to receive from his terrorist supporters in Lebanon + Syria.

that is an interesting point because then those funds could be seized and Moore would realize no gain from his evil deeds ...

Industry newsletter chronicles Hezbolla's support of Moore film

Could this be accurate? Is an international distribution company contracted to release Fahrenheit 9/11 in Lebanon actually working with Hezbollah- you know, that terrorist organization that murders innocent people it doesn't like:

The movie industry publication Screen Daily reported, "In terms of marketing the film, [distributor] Front Row is getting a boost from organizations related to Hezbollah which have rung up from Lebanon to ask if there's anything they can do to support the film."

The story then quotes Front Row Managing Director Gianluca Chacra: "We can't go against these organizations as they could strongly boycott the film in Lebanon and Syria."

We couln't have that now, could we Michael?

Wasn't some (conservative) filmmaker supposed to be making a "documentary" about Moore and his lies and hypocrisy?

Here is from WorldNetDaily on the same:

The company distributing filmmaker Michael Moore's Bush-bashing movie "Fahrenheit 9/11" says it won't reject an offer of help from Middle East terrorist organization Hezbollah.
As WorldNetDaily reported, terrorists affiliated with the Iran-backed network last week offered to help promote the film in the United Arab Emirates.
Terror-war supporting organization Move America Forward publicized the Chacra quote and reacted strongly against it.
"Michael Moore dismisses Americans who are upset with his film and the impact it has in undermining support for the war against terrorism," said Vice Chair Melanie Morgan. "At the same time, his distribution companies are concerned about offending the sensibilities of terrorists. That certainly gives rise to asking the question: Whose side are you on?"

I don't know if this article was posted here as I must have missed it on WND.

If Moore knowingly allows his film to be distributed by Hezbollah or its associates, he has to reasonably assume that some money will be going to that terrorist organization. That would violate federal law, meaning he should be investigated and prosecuted if the facts so warrant. Since he likes to rant and rave about the USA PATRIOT Act so much, lets give him a taste of what its for! Should we not be calling our congressional representatives and senators, demanding such an investigation?

If Michael Moore isn't on the list of known terrorist, something is incredibly wrong with our "homeland security".

The simple endorsement by these known terrorist groups should be enough for a stay at Gitmo.... Maybe try out some of those supposed torture methods we are being accused of using....

It shouldn`t be hard to torture Moore, just take away the food. "AAAAH! I need a hamburger! Ahhh! I will gladly pay you Tuesday!"

Hm. Consider, though, that every penny these guys give to Moore is $ that they won't have to spend on things that go boom.

I saw a magazine today, I think it was the NRA's magazine, but not sure. Cover was a lookalike masked terrorist in a jacket and tie. The cover story details traitor/media who cross the line, not merely criticizing the US every which way but up, but supporting the enemy outright. The story lists articles, names, dates and quotes of TV and print people. One I recall: "..At least Clinton's lies didn't kill anyone." Here we are at war, and this biased, numbnuts brainwashing goes on 24/7. Moore just jumped on the bandwagon. Where does this end? With Kerry in office and the UN in charge? It's like Invasion of the Body Snatchers, all those aliens screeching when they find one normal person. They're like lemmings headed for the nearest cliff, and the only thing stopping them from dragging the entire country with them is our vote for Bush. Scary stuff, guys.

Getting in touch with your local congressman, plus any media you can talk to (local paper, radio/TV outlet, etc.), would be my guess. I'm not sure if O'Reilly and Hannity have discussed this yet. If nothing else, if public disgust and pressure keeps this out of as many theaters as possible, that would be somewhat of a victory.
